Same as I used to do 20 years ago or so. Get into town for about 2pm - quick pint at the Companion's Club, or a pie outside the Gallowgate. In seat in good time for KO - there until full time, when I headed off for the bus home. Used to always be the same lot, who would arrive late (usually absolutely arseholed), leave early before HT and then back late for the 2nd half. Used to do my head in.

Wow - Blyth get their first win since god knows when. Beat Mickleover Sports 2-1. Ashington also win 1-0 on the road.

Good win - never really had to get out of 2nd gear. Wee bit sloppy in 2nd half, but perhaps that was more down to taking foot off the pedal. Quality finishes from Isak and Tonali. Happy in NE24.

Said a quick 'alreet, Lewis', when I saw Lewis Hall in Jesmond a couple of hours ago. Said 'hi - how are you' - back to me. Didn't stop for a natter is he looked in a hurry and I was working.
