  1. I suppose that depends on whether or not you and your team-mates continue to play like a bunch of useless shitbags, Damo.

    RIP sale thread.

Hopefully Shearer has demanded to be included in sale negotiations to ensure the new buyer has the right intentions What power does Shearer have? None whatsoever; at this moment he's not even a club employee. Honestly--unless we're very, very lucky--the future looks fucking bleak to me.
  3. That's a fair point tbh. Aye, but it keeps Dave off the streets.
  4. I thought it was alright, tbh. I've seen much worse cup finals.
  5. Pretty easy in the end for Chelsea. Think they really started to push on when Lampard got himself on the ball more.
  6. Aye, they've often been described as 'the thinking man's team'.
  7. Neil's just said on the text he thinks that he's playing shite. Ah well. unless Keefaz was being sarcastic and I'm about to be whooshed
  8. Hey, Hibbert's having a good game, isn't he?
  9. The coverage of the build-up on ITV is absolutely nauseating.
  10. Take it no one's really interested, then?
  11. I am sure there are a lot of legal implications to draft as AS would want watertight guarantees. This is what I'm hoping and banking on.
  12. And along that line, I see the club have shifted on a few oddbods in odd jobs under the radar while everyone was distracted.
  13. Chap on SSN reckons nowt's going to happen.
  14. Think he's very boring to watch nowadays whereas 3/4 seasons back he could be magical, really exciting.
  15. Sounds like a good idea that. Being clear on the terms of a job before you sign on the dotted line. Because if a manager signed a contract without negotiating, clarifying and agreeing to his exact responsibilities before hand then it might result in a dispute that could damage the club and derail an entire season. Well, heaven forbid that should ever happen.
  16. There are good points, but I have faith in Shearer because I know if he's appointed he won't cut corners. He has inside experience of where the club has been mismanaged in the past. He will insist on making the club professional from top to bottom. He will demand respect from the owner and chairman along with the necessary tools to do his job, and he won't be fobbed off with hollow promises.
  17. Of course, Barcelona were always going to be the technically superior team but I don't really understand how Ferguson was hoping to nullify their threat. Carrick, Anderson and Giggs did fuck all of any use against Iniesta, Xavi or Messi, and when they had the balll they had no idea how to use it effectively.
  18. Honestly, not one Man Utd has enhanced his reputation after that. Weakest performance I've seen by them in a long time.
  19. Bwahahaha! Man Utd: absolutely rubbish. They had absolutely no one in midfield. Carrick is just nowhere near the likes of Xavi or Iniesta. Think Scholes should've been on. Park shouldn't have been anywhere near the fucking pitch, tbh. But, really, everyone had an off-day.
  20. Its been one hell of a verbal orgy. Probably trying to help them understand the offside rule.
  21. Whose? George Grahams http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/9343/samallardyce280x390f064.jpg 'I only play one kind of football - winning football' No, thanks.
