  1. Has become a massive game for us. We really need to get right behind whoever plays from the off.
  2. Obviously so out of touch in their pampered, cosseted world they don't realise that for most people their car is a major inverstment which represents a large chunk of their annual salary and not just a throw away thing to spend half a week's wages on.
  3. That would appear to say "guilty". As privileged individuals who are role models they should receive an appropriate sentence. Judging by the reaction of many Sunderland fans who are applauding their behaviour it would seem they have set a dangerous example.

    Alan Pardew

HBA has a huge role to play for us, is our most skillful player and the one most able to unlock a tight defensive door. I suspect that when he has key players out Pardew is looking for extra graft to compensate our weak areas. I'm not sure HBA gives us this and so Pardew opts for a lesser talented but harder working player.
  5. Best defender I have seen play for us over many decades of supporting NUFC. How's that for a thread restart !
  6. Or we're waiting to see how much Chelsea are going to bid for Carroll, before we make our offer of £15m more for Torres. ;D
  7. http://www.true-faith.co.uk/tf/features.nsf/0/EE006520CC95435C80257968004A496B?OpenDocument Both men arrested at addresses in Newcastle upon Tyne according to BBC. Seems like everyone else connected to Sunderland FC, they wouldn't dirty their shoes by living or socialising in the place where they play their football.
  8. Pretty certain to be sold out by end of today with very few seats remaining. However quality of support will be as important as quantity, this has become a crucial match and we need to be right behind all eleven players whether they're reserves playing out of position or returning from injury. The confidence gained by having the crowd right behind them will be a big plus.
  9. Aye. Lets hope Williamson is ready too. Bench tomorrow with a 15 minute run out if we're in a strong position and possibly in the starting eleven Wednesday I'd reckon.
  10. While I'm sure all necessary precaution will be taken with the upcoming fixtures, it won't be lost on anyone that with Coloccini in the side we conceded 12 goals in 13.33 games and without him we've conceded 7 in 1.67 games. They'll be busting a gut to get him in the starting eleven.
  11. Took a quick look at the rtg site. Absolutely staggering how many of their fans are applauding the actions of these overpaid pricks.
  12. "However, we have had numerous reports of Mr Cattermole breaching his ban. We have written to him and even contacted Sunderland Football Club in a bid to resolve this issue. "He has most recently been to the Fairfield pub in Stockton; the police confirmed this using CCTV so there's no doubt on that. Members have voted unanimously to extend his current ban, which was due to expire in December 2011, by 12 months to December 2012. "As licensees we are not prepared to take it any longer." Cattermole had already been warned about his conduct before his arrest in 2008. The ban means Cattermole and Bates cannot enter any pub or club in the towns of Stockton, Yarm, Billingham or Thornaby. Cattermole has twice appealed to the Yarm Pubwatch group to have his ban lifted, only to be refused. Sunderland refused to comment to the Evening Gazette". Says it all really. Imagine having that as your club captain.
  13. Sunderland players and staff have been getting away with far too much bigging it up in Newcastle city centre in recent years and the number of criminal offences they commit is quite ridiculous. I suppose as long as their fans applaud them for it and the club turn a blind eye it will only get worse.
  14. Isn't Cattermole the club captain? Setting a fine example by adding to the various assault, drug and sex offence charges the club are already dealing with. I'm sure those who run the club will turn the same blind eye to it as they do when fans invade the pitch to attack opposition players.
  15. Just asking for a meme to be made out of it . Reading that article it seems that their conference and music concert activities are the very opposite of their football business i.e. well managed and successful. If I was the yank I'd just concentrate on the gigs which seem to sell out no problem and forget about the football where they have to pimp around dishing out free tickets and resort to undignified marketing campaigns in an attempt to pad out a half empty stadium. Seems like they're big in the music world but in football no one outside the NE of England knows who they are.
  16. Surprised they don't mention the free tickets or the opportunity to get on the pitch and attack opposition players during their frequent pitch invasions.
  17. Na, that one's been took down Said something about the 'excitement and passion of the SoL' 'only a 30 minute drive from the airport'. And shortly after it going up the featured "star" player fucked off to play in the Dubai Sunday League in preference to playing at the SoL. At least they didn't put any of their itinerant "superstars" on this one to try and avoid further embarrassment. What a joke of a club. FTM.
  18. Sometimes you just have to feel sorry for macums. As if they weren't already a big enough joke, what does Saint Niall make a priority in his new role of director of paper clips and global domination ? Yes thats right, he blows a load of money on an advert at NEWCASTLE International Airport compounding their absolute obsession with all things BLACK and WHITE. Surprised he didn't put FTM on the end of it.
  19. Only points after O'Neill came in will count. Watch. Quit knocking Billy Bullshit's Barcelona. FTM.
  20. Only in Sunderland can scraping a flukey last minute home win against the league's worst team, who had a perfectly good goal disallowed and missing their two best players EQUAL a messiahtastic new begining of world football domination. You couldn't make it up. All hail the new Barcelona. FTM.
  21. Still has two sexual assault charges pending I think. Unless plod have told him otherwise very recently. Tesfaye merely keeping his bunk warm. Disgraceful that Billy Bullshit plays a man with these criminal charges in his team. Sums up the scummy club really.
  22. Blackburn must be quaking in their boots at the thought of playing the new Barcelona on Sunday
  23. If bullshit equalled points then oniell would be top of any league. The macums will swallow it all again just as they did with Keane and Bruce. They just love magic carpets down there.
  24. It is just so Sunderland though. There's people on there will come and pick you up if you're interested in going. With all the freebies and cheapies they must have a really low receipts versus attendance ratio as well. Their gate reciepts were less than half of what ours were when both clubs revealed their last set of accounts (£16m for them and £33m for us iirc). I'd imagine that gap will only get bigger as well.
