Hard to think of many managers that would have come in with the same amount of hunger, desire to succeed and transformational effect to do the job Eddie has done this season. Just 110% the best person for the job. Considering those big names linked I don't think I'd change Eddie for any of them. He gets the league, the club and the players. So excited he gets the chance to push on with us next year.

Always hard to judge. We might score early and that just pisses liverpool off. They are always a team that grows into the game and have incredible stamina to dig deep and push more than most teams in the league in the second half. We have improved out fitness and stamina no end but I can't see anything other than a comfortable loss, unless liverpool have a very rare off day for 90 ish minutes. I do think we will be up for it and give our all but we have too many mistakes in us, especially at the back.

Hope he doesn't switch off now. Need a mammoth performance from him the next few games.

It's ok. It is a reliable and smart exit strategy from Sofia. They have removed him from his advisor/director role and into a manager role they know he will be hounded out of sooner than later. He CAN be broken.

Poor first half, much better second. Grew into the false 9 role and looked good creating from deep by the end. Has #10 potential maybe. Some absolutely woeful deliveries and attempts in the first half as mentioned though. I think next year will be a huge test for him. We won't cash in this summer imo, If we do it is because Howe thinks he won't evolve with the side. 4 or 5 new quality additions and it will be make or break time for him next year. Still love the lad. He was trying hard, too hard.. but was also surprisingly helpful tracking back and defending.
