Definitely, stop dragging the history of these clubs through the mire. These people don't represent the club, they represent themselves.
-
Wouldn't surprise me if they called a meeting for tomorrow with the other clubs, excluding the breakaway 6, because they are spending the whole day placating those 6 clubs so they can present their compromise and let the rest of the league know tomorrow that they have let the 6 continue in the league under certain stipulations.

If it is just a power play he and others will simply sit and wait before making too much noise. No-one is quitting just to find out in a few days the super league doesn't happen, big clubs UCL and National League demands are met and they continue on as if nothing happened.
-
You know he is the one fumbling to find the camera on button holding up the meeting. "Lee, yes lee, you are also still on mute."
-
Thought and hoped we would have a more formalized statement from the leagues and UEFA by now. Have little faith they are doing anything but shitting the bed and bending over backwards to woo these 12 back.
-
As if. You know Masters would be "I'm tired and I'm going to bed. Can we talk about this in the morning please." Its probably and more predictably going to be a day of grovelling trying to find a compromise with these teams. Hope it's the opposite and jettisoning them.

So all this ECA talk. There are only 4 other English teams in it. Means dick all if the super league clubs have left it. Aston Villa • Everton • Leicester City • Newcastle United 232 clubs in total across Europe. Seems like a lot until you see the breakdown. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Club_Association

Amen @Super Duper Branko Strupar Clubs come and go. This will take a huge time to settle if there is a hard split, which I am pretty sure their wont be, but it would work out better for the National Leagues and clubs than this SuperLeague. If they stick to the national team embargo for players and exile from home leagues it will just be a glorified MLS graveyard league for aging players wanting money and wanting to sustain themselves by not playing international football. It won't last how they want it to.
-
Everyone is so quiet on this so far other than pundits. I expect clubs will start making statement too like Project Big Picture.
-
No one considered some of these teams to be the best in the country let alone Europe not that long ago. Teams come and go, rise and fall that is the beauty of football. This is cheating death at the expense of the rest of the world.
-
Depends entirely on the reaction of Fifa, UEFA and the leagues/FA's. If they truly stamp down on this, eject them, don't let the players play internationally and stick to it that will send a message to any other clubs. The footballing world and many European clubs will be waiting to see what happens next before they decide whether to stick or start chumming up to Super League teams with overtures to jumping down the line. If they stamp down on it as mentioned those 14 clubs will go nowhere except crawling back when the interest in the league dies more than it has already. Nothing but a huge statement will do. If they let his happen and allow them to still continue in leagues or players nationally then European football, if not the world is completely fucked forever. Other parts of the world will start doing the same until the World Super League is created too.
-
Best thing to do is for everyone to shut them out and make an example of them. They might draw international tv money right now but not for long with the same teams. Call their bluff and fuck em off them make them start from the bottom when they come crawling back.
-
I know so little about the ECA to know if that is really a big deal or not lol. If they left UEFA though lol or is that what the ECA is? Crazy.
-
The more this comes out the more it seems like a giant negotiating tactic to get more power in their leagues and for UCL/UEFA etc to bow to their demands. Ridiculously shit website and branding, no visible long term viability. I hope Uefa and the national associations and leagues call them all on it.
-
Confirmed the 5 extra slots will go to MLS teams and they will rebrand as the Super Duper League.
-
They have just removed super league teams.
-
Awaits talk of Celtic and Rangers joining the premier league.
-
More great PR. Oh shit yeah. the womens teams. Yeah we will get to that too. Definitely in our future plans.
-
Overwhelming majority is negative on social media and on that point everyone in the media is ripping it the same sheep wont ignore what it says in the sun and educated heroes like Rio Ferdinand and Robbie Savage.
-
Porto, RB Liepzig and Bayern tipped to be the other three not PSG.

I know people are saying these leagues won't actually expel the teams because of the money they bring in. But seeing as the majority of fans of these clubs I can see have condemned this why wouldn't they. To be honest they only weaken themselves and leadership to everyone else if they don't. If these clubs are expelled, fifa and Uefa revoke registration for national teams it is done. They have to work their way back up like Rangers did from lower leagues. Even as a supporter I wouldn't disagree with that. Protect the brand of the Premier League. It will still be more valuable that 6 clubs, even if they are some of the biggest. Other clubs will come up, other clubs will get investment.
-
Well they will be in consideration for a place in the superleague based on league placing merit!

The Yacht is en-route from Belgium as we speak. The Prince will be sat next to Masters at the presser.

We will find out in 3 years after Arbitration is called between the super league 6 and the EPL.
