Roeder as good as Benitez at developing players, and better than Mourinho. :D I'm sure Roeder could have made the likes of Deco as good as he is now tbh

I don't give a monkeys about the EU....So no I've never seen it as a problem. It's a good idea and imo there should be a way of applying some aspects of it. Anyway we're technically not talking about stopping anyones right to work. IMO half of EU law is junk and needs to be challenged.... Infact you'll find the U.K. is not even signed up to the full treaty and we do as we please in other areas where our law still has precedence. The sheer irony of this coming from someone that currently works abroad

3 Non EU players which prevented Messi from gaining a regular place in Barca's starting line-up earlier as he had to wait for his Spanish citizenship coming through

What a bunch of fucking midgets

Just as many is a ballpark phrase?
-
Ship him out and get a mediocre english replacement to adhere to the OPs new changes to the structure of the game. Or give him a British passport......
-
Shay Given to still HOOF the ball up at every opportunity for our sheer DOMINATING height in the air?
-
Buying defenders from teams that ship just as many goals as our bunch of mongs makes sense to me as well tbh
-
Richard Dunne is the white Titus Bramble, fact. He's fucking hopeless
-
So on one hand you don't want any foreigners in the game and on the other hand you want to hand out British passports to anyone?
-
The South African That was my point? Diaby and Fabregas aren't English? Pattison isn't English? See?

He'd probably make a better coach that that gurning prick Clark

Terry never played for West Ham, nor did he come through the ranks there. If you pick Joe Cole, fair enough. If you pick Ashley Cole, he came through West Ham. I thought your point in the previous post was that the players were coming through at small teams? Quite a few ManU players in there as well... You're right about Terry actually....I'm willing to wage that PL clubs the top 6/7 will no longer develop young English players..Arsenal are a disgrace. Is this the same Arsenal that splashed up to £12m on a 17yr old ENGLISH player? Don't think they'll bother developing him? If the English players are good enough I'm sure Wenger will try to sign them, but if they're going to cost 10x as much as the French equivalents why would he sign them? They've also got Hoyte coming through who looks promising, and a couple of kids out on loan. How much have they spent on foreign players by comparison....? ...and part of my argument is that teams often hoover up sub-standard foreigners to fill gaps instead of giving homegrown players a chance...Pompey anyone? More of an indicment on how over-priced English players are Ashley Young for £10m ffffffffffffffffffffs
-
Implying that Man Utd aren't developing home-grown talent makes you look like a spaz tbh
-
Yeah, because no english players are mercenaries tbh
-
How can the English players be good enough if they never get a game....? Why should they get a game if they aren't good enough? How do you know they're not good enough if they can't get games? I trust a managers judgment (roeder excluded) over some mong on the internet tbh

Yeah I'd be fucking gutted if we developed the likes of Fabregas and Diaby as opposed to Matty fucking Pattison

Theres a couple of Poles, Klose and Podolski. Neuville

Really don't understand why teams should field inferior players in an attempt to improve a mediocre national team.
-
Apart from Sheff Utd's goal being his fault. No better than Steve Howey was tbh
-
Chris Armstrong?

I wish Emre was half as good as Gattuso

Kanchelskis over-rated? ffs
