  1. Feel for Sam Kerr missing those 2 chances late as you'd have put money on her banging one of them in - but England just have such a brilliantly coached team, ruthless in the counter and an incredible to desire to weather the big occasion and put it away. Go on and win that World Cup now.

    Alexander Isak

for some reason thats not how it works, rather - there’s this mythical Brighton premium attached to their players.
  3. Can we legitimately just arrange a proper time and place to meet up then, an internet friends meet up at the pub pre and post palace match? (Child and family dependent) @SEMTEX
  4. Get over bro, would be awesome to meet you!

  8. 'cause your nerd fans boo'd the living daylights out of him and have been abusing him all year. He said, nah, fuck yalllllll
  9. What could be the potential time/date changes? assuming CL?
  10. Ahh, so our kick off time could change because our involvement on 24/25? Matchday 2: October 3/4 2023 Matchday 3: October 24/25 2023
  11. You bloody love Brighton, man stop fawning over Bloom!
  12. Top, fucking player.
  13. I'll be honest, I'm 100% with you @HaydnNUFC and also @Dan Gleebals post is also where my head is at too. This is the BEST time to play them, early on in the season and they have injuries. I want to think Tonali is our X-factor we've never had against these lot. He's got the physicality to duel with Rodri and track their midfield runners better than Longstaff. He's probably just simply better at the dirty work against highly technical and tactically fluid teams over anyone we have in midfield too. He's decisive in the pass and seems calm in possession too. I'm obviously basing this all on not a whole lot of PL film on Tonali but I do have a feeling we will be a great match for these.

    St James' Park

Probably a good spot for concerts too, and all that.
  15. I really rate Olise, bummer he's going to waste his career at Chelsea. Competing with Madueke and Sterling at RW?

    St James' Park

Whether the diehards will like it or not, this type of offering sort of has to be in the stadium in the new world we live in with the amount of money in football. It's also the kind of stuff our owners and our executives like and get involved with. Purely from my corporate job perspective, it's a no brainer to do this. If I was entertaining clients who just liked football but wanted to do some heavy drinking but had no stake in the match, I'd hoy them up there if thats what needed to be done for the biz.

    St James' Park

It seems like the perfect venue for the club or corporate clients to entertain, and decent enough seats to get a feel of the place but otherwise I think it's hella expensive for 1 bloody match.

    St James' Park

Rooftops seems like a pretty cool "private" event venue within the stadium for after hours or on random days where they don't have matches for people to have parties, business related events etc. Seems a bit too high-end for you everyday match-goer.
  19. Can not wait to have some pints with you, mate.
  20. Mate, I'd have to convince my wife to take a 615a LNER direct train from London to make the kick off. I'll probably take the 830 or 9a. Much appreciated for you even suggesting a way to make it work. @Yorkie and I had chatted about it as well, and I'm gutted it won't work.
  21. If i was getting into Newcastle sooner, I'd actually be up for this But i dont think I actually get in until Noon-ish
  22. Ya, I'd agree with you STM, I think Villa probably beats 75% of what I saw in the PL this past weekend. Having said that though, regardless of Villa's injuries our 2nd half adjustments turned the game and we became destructively ruthless in attack. I have 0 doubts about Villa's ability in the main all season - need to get Ramsey, Moreno and Buendia back and get Pau Torres playing with perhaps Carlos (for the pace?). What I don't like about Villa is the stinking Tielemans, Coutinho, Digne signings which feel all too "big name" and not boxing smart with maximizing what you got.
  23. Wolves didn't deserve that.
