Eddie Howe - who has basically lived NUFC for nearly 3 seasons; part coach, part DOF at first…. saved us from relegation, signed some proper hard working pros and world class talents, got us 4th and CL, a Cup final and a decent attack at the domestic cups last season too; with an injury crisis never seen before around our parts somehow still guided us to 7th and if not for City losing to Man United in the FA Cup Final would have gotten us another season of European footbal. Do people immediately want to throw knives at him for “shit” performances, 4 points from a possible 6? If not that, it’s also this weird obsession over his transfer strategy or his team selection. Has he not shown every single person here time and time again that he’s better at this football thing than we are? Fuck sake. Some of you do really deserve MA again.

Bournemouth were desperate for Mamar too, I’d take that Neto as our backup tbh
-
Pope, Trippier, Krafth, Kelly, Hall, Tonali, Bruno, Willock, Barnes, Isak, Gordon.
-
Always assumed Gordon was to replace Miggy; Maxi and Gordon would be the starters. Then we signed Barnes and sold Maxi so then it was Barnes and Gordon.
-
He genuinely took his role by the scruff. Which is what deserves a start.

Little different when trips Schar and Botman are with him no?
-
He doesn’t like loan without obligation to buy. He liked the loan for Targett no? Stop being so up Minteh’s ass please. It’s not a good look for a fellow OG of this forum.

Write the other 36 league matches and cup games off because the window? You can’t be serious.

He also got dropped because Lloyd Kelly has been pushing for more minutes (and needs them) and we’re still early days in the season. Healthy rotation is probably okay + the obvious, which needn’t be stated that Kelly playing on familiar turf against familiar players away from home was seen as a positive. In any case, Howe is meticulous I am sure he has a million other reasons why he dropped Hall. But let’s just also give credit to Lewis Hall though - he came on and was an impact, he didn’t sulk about being dropped when he stepped on the pitch. That’s exactly the reaction we should be applauding versus the negative

Again, I’ll say it. There isn’t a transfer fee I’d take for him at this point. He’s head and shoulders better defensively, positionalally on the ball than Tino. Tino has everything in him to be a world class fullback but he’s still so much to learn in his game. Trips came on and it was so bloody smooth what he did. I want Trips to here to mentor Tino and Hall for the next 2 seasons.

Thankfully Barnes shot was nearly in. If it was a shit shot, then yea I’d be angry too!
-
Would be fucking gutted if we moved him on, like.
-
Longstaff needs to be on the bench for the foreseeable.
-
I can’t stress enough that there isn’t a single price id take for trippier at this point. He is still the best right back we have.
-
Just can’t believe Joelinton had that much space and he decided to just turn back into his man.
-
Joelinton ffs
-
Sean just takes too long and is negative press resistant
-
Tino is the worst throw in taker I’ve seen in ages
-
Uh what the fuck was that shit
-
Seriously just play Barnes and willock man
-
Gordon has to start winning these loose 50/50s
