  1. Agreed. The ratio of time spent discussing that crap compared to time discussing the actual game is bizarre to me really. To watch football coverage you wouldn't think it's a top-level elite sport at all... everyone is just talking about either managers getting sacked, someone being racist or refereeing decisions. No wonder nobody has a clue about technique and tactics. And while the world went all anguish face at Keegan losing his mind in the "love it" rant; there died a man who left every single bit of his personality out there, man. When men like Kevin Keegan get ran out of football by pricks like Mike Ashley and Derek Llambias, or Tony Jimenez, or Alan Pardew can smoke a pole or 2 to get a nice bloke like Hughton out, and so on and so forth - it stinks man. Ain't got a single bit of time for that shit anymore. It's all soul destroying stuff.
  2. As long as you've been watching the sport, you've been convinced Cabella is the size of Shawcross Speaking in general terms; I'm so tired of football these days it's sad. Premier league seems dead to me and I get angry at European or cup competitions BC we aren't arsed for that either. f***s sake I'm more excited about the MLS these days just bc its an escape from the s*** manager, MD and p*ss take of an owner we have. Never really like a player too much bc he's going to be sold, or the manager won't like him bc he's too maverick or too attacking and not enough tackle. Depressing crap club with no real reason for existence in its current state - the league years ago seemed a ton more fun to me, and even during our boom and bust times as well; minnow teams would go out there and try and beat the living socks out of a big club; seems now it's all about keeping things tight and hoping for some magic ala Pardew.

It won't. 20k is perfect. Keep demand up high if we have too
  4. Djemba Djemba was their answer
  5. It was nice to see original Tiote go out there and play a good game, tackle well, recycle possession, keep ball moving quickly and then just be an overall beast. Then he decided he'd start to be something he's not and significantly lost his athleticism and ball playing.
  6. Too f***ing right Souness was right, tactics are s****. I don't enjoy watching a wonderfully thoughtful defensive performance that ends up a nicked 1-0 victory these days. I ain't got the fucking time or patience for it anymore. Just go out and play football.
  7. Actually quite tired of this holding midfield Makalele role bull s***. If we play 3 central midfielders, 2 should be able to attack and defend, and if 1 is further up #10, then so be it. If we have to play 3 central midfielders all responsible attacking and defending, great. But the idea that you basically just lose an attacker b/c 1 is sitting back protecting his back line is something I wish could go away from football. Miss the days you'd just talk about 2 teams going out there trying to out attack the other. Shit has gotten so overly tactical it's become a bit of a bore to me.

Look man, I think you got it confused. the #5 was the one everyone was applauding after the game b/c he played that position very well. #7 was the one who has a better passing range to him but he was mis hitting everything. Trust me on this. Sem knows, he's a solid DM.

In the US they build nice full service upscale hotels or luxury hotels near stadiums, including a good mix of high end and fun bars - you get the feeling this is going to be budget as fuck, look terrible as fuck too.

Shea really grew into the 2nd half, but I can't agree regarding that Okugo guy, sure he won couple of balls in midfield but that Higuita guy was the one controlling the tempo of the game while that Okugo guy looked completely incapable of playing a pass (that moment in the first half when he tried to boot the ball with a half volley and completely made a mess out of it ). That Collin guy that was sent off kept going into challenges at 200% he was going to get sent off at some point Seemed completely wreckless. Molino is quite decent as well and him Rivas and Kaka with better understanding will definitely do some damage I think. Well that is if the quality of the game yesterday is the same across the league. Different game we saw then bro, Okugo made like dozens of tackles and interceptions and kept possession brilliantly well. Great tackles too. Higuata made far more mistakes. Both did very well though together. Need to remember that Okugu isn't South American, though. Literally have no idea what Flip is saying about Okugo man, literally everyone was annoyed with Higuata - gave the ball away far too much when he needed to play it simple. He has a far better ceiling though, think he will grow into his role.

Thanks Kaiz, brotha. Just happy to see my town doing something for sports again. It's a good feeling man. Just love seeing people enjoy sports and kids and families to even the rabid fans in the supporters end. Love it.

Naw your team is kinda garbage. A Pardew team if I saw one. If Orlando had villa we'd murder your team. If we signed Ben Arfa like I suggested we'd be laughing. All jokes aside good luck to your team brother. Feels good to support something that wants to give back to you genuinely.

Orlando bossed New York. Their Man City kit is awful. Feeder club for city. Must feel good being that. Ref was awful we dove some but thought one looked a pen. Glad we scored late we clearly deserved it. New York are awful. Shea and Kaka class above. Kaka will boss this league. Okugo was brilliant at DM and probably most of his work will have been unseen off camera. His positioning was excellent. Love our style of play, pass and move first time and movement all over. Rivas could be decent if he stayed onside. Orlando was buzzing man, 62K fans in that stadium. Insane. Sea of purple. People all over. Transit was nightmare but just cool to see. Nobody really got mad. Seemed happy all around. So cool to see in my city. I'm just so happy I've a club to support who actually cares about being good and has ambition. NYCFC need to get that Nemec guy off and ball to Villa more.

Bought the white away yesterday. It's lush.
  17. Alan Smith for me. Coupled with him being a cunt when I was angry after relegation and he's just drinking his face off in my city acting like he owned the bar I frequent in Orlando. No dice man, not in my city. We'd have a canny shit 11 of awful players like.

think he's got a lot about him. Been arguably the best player in USL the past couple seasons. Read somewhere that some think he's one of the best players playing over here as well. I do like that Heath plays a 4-2-3-1 with Kaka at #10, Molino wide and its all about 1-2 touch passing and fluid movement. We scored some great team goals last season. He gets his mind right again, which i think he will in the MLS, and he should bang in goals for fun.

Excited to see Kevin Molino on the bigger stage too. Bested Dom Dwyer's goal scoring for us when we had him on loan before he took up his role at KC. Think Molino is one of the top players in the league, potentially. His chemistry with Kaka already evident.

JJ7 cheers to you mate, for trying and arguing, and having the backbone to call them out to their faces man. Minus that 5th season, and the random moments of goal brilliance, I hate this Ashley version of Newcastle United.

There's really no point in supporting the club anymore is there? Unless we somehow make a proper managerial appointment, or Until Ashley dies, and or sells we're completely useless. Sickening man.

We play on UNIMAS next week I saw. Not even sure what the fuck channel that is. Can't wait for tomorrow's game man...62,000 fucking people at the first MLS match in Orlando. Hope we can get the Win, and score some goals - would love to see the place rocking.

Naw man, Best was an unsexy option that people always wanted upgraded, well, we never replaced him and throw in Adam Armstrong now and then. Awful all around.

I think he's underrated by you, man. He did his fucking job and he did it pretty damn well after his initial awfulness. Ba owes him a ton for doing a ton of his dirty work for him.

Ban the player for 10+ games, dock him MONTHS of wages, fine the club hundreds of thousands or a million pounds, whatever the case.
