selling it at a sub 10 cap rate I assume on NOI. It’s an event space on a parking lot that otherwise is tied to the football club in Birmingham. No other investment company is buying that for that value. Absolute funny math.

We don’t have any other assets to sell, it’s our men’s team, a decent training ground, a leasehold position on the stadium and i guess the fee interest in the stack site. Our women’s team is far off. So please stop mentioning our owners aren’t using any loopholes to use because we don’t have anything to move. And the one time we sold a player to Saudi, we were run thru the mud in the press and made to defend why Maxi was a 25m player despite his age and helping us qualify for CL. Meanwhile Dhuran has one good half season and goes for double. finally - I don’t want to use loopholes. I want to do this the right way.

Sold to their parent company. Utter joke these loopholes.

I spoke to him at NCL airport after the Sheffield United home match 2 season ago and one he played absolutley class in - he’s such a really nice kid.

Don’t call me victim Dropout. Odd thing to say to someone. PSR is about running a sustainable operation but its actual function is really to benefit already rich clubs who has no restrictions prior to; it’s financial restrictions do not increase with inflation while everything else in football does - and cute little loopholes make the whole thing a joke.

need a permanent countdown clock. I’m absolutely desperate for him to rejoin!

I Forgot to mention Nkunku

I hate how they have sold a women’s team and hotel to affiliated parties and that counts to help them with their spending. I hate that is allowed to happen and yet since we Can’t do that we have to sell 2 promising youngsters; 1 we developed and the other we scouted and sent to the perfect place to learn and develop (both are true footballing acts). But hey Chelsea can do some cute loophole bullshit and he ok. Fuck off with that man. reality is that if we didn’t have to do those sales, we’d have already signed JP or our Cb by now because we had Anderson and Minteh ready to step in or already in the rotation.
-
Really can’t stand Chelsea. Honestly have an unnecessary level of dislike towards them these days.
-
some Saudi club will sign him for 40m
-
If we lose out on JP I’d love to see us go for Xavi Simons
-
Yes! Sorry. With Sterling there, Jackson there, and Mudryk about to get banned. first off, fuck Fulham for falling apart at 1-0 late and Liverpool for that joke of a performance after they won the title.
-
I really don’t understand Chelsea’s squad one bit. Does JP play as their main CF? Or is that Delap? Palmer is infinitely their best 10 and they have Neto and Madueke on the wings. But maybe it isn’t?

Couple tweets and this place goes into a frenzy with a thread title change and a bunch of arguing. It’s Sunday, everyone.

Think he’s past the mental block after last season. Best fullback in the PL.
-
Are they signing Bulka too? He’s a great keeper tbh.

@Yorkie knows, I can whip up some class home kits

^ I do agree and have said this for ages that the biggest missing piece for is our 4th CM (who can play as an 8 or 6) isn’t an older head who offers the experience to slot in and play meaningful minutes. I do not think it needs to be some flashy 23 year old attacker; I think it needs to be a relatively unexciting name or a player who’s best days are past him but is a capable player when called upon. From an experience standpoint point - I believe in Dan Burn we have that at CB (who actually is a class CB and an incredible leader for us), and at least a few seasons ago, we had that in Callum Wilson (great leader, greater striker at that time). Trippier fails into this bucket.

Lovely kit.

I know. I’m more on about Parish holding out for whatever he did that is probably less than he’ll get this year. altho Europa league and a cup. :-/ sooooo
-
But there is no ceiling for a club like Newcastle!

yep bang on, feel often our own fans want to play a different style than what we have done and also want players they prefer that fit into how they see the team playing. Right or wrong, player has to fit into the manager’s style of play. Furthermore, the obsession over this low block thing is far more exaggerated in reality given how well we’ve played overall under Eddie’s entire tenure. The best sides impose their will consistently and supplement the team with quality players to execute the plan more efficiently and expertly. Again, as I said before I’d like to see us get an attacking technician but honestly prefer that more centrally to spread it across the attack.

Our Plan B is more of that back 3 or 5 anyway which helped us topple Arsenal two times in a cup, Chelsea at home, notably and secure a trophy and CL football.
