Has that awfully old half-time music on loop etc. Only asking b/c I know we get most of our matches in the USA via that feed if isn't ESPN (Darke/Macca) but obviously NBC has switched that up.

Depends on who we hire as manager if Pardew was sacked. If someone like Girard came in then you would think Cabaye or Yanga-Mbiwa would be options. Mapou was his captain and I recall reading a ton about his leadership capabilities.

I dunno, isn't it fairly common for clubs to send players away for specialist treatment? Our facilities are s*** to no? Clairefontaine is a class facility from what I've heard/read. The bigger issue here is that we HAVE to send players away b/c of our s*** facilities for rehab etc. Specialists are always called in to help mend broken bones, ligaments etc. I'm glad that we DO send players to the best doctors in the world - its the rehab part that is in question by many, which is valid, but hopefully one day, our facilities are upgraded and we have a real top rehab and recuperation system for our players hurt and not hurt.

Scottie Parker was a fantastic tackler of the ball - actually quite miss him playing for us.

1. Benitez - Proven winner, would get us within the top 6-7 every single season and we'd be pushing for Cup runs as well. No fear mentality and he'd impose his style of play where we wouldn't be going to Man City, Chelsea, etc Away from home and be worried about losing. 2. Girard - Real football man, supremely intelligent man who imposes good football, works with youth, and would really do wonders on all of our French players and some of the younger players we have. Would probably fit the Ashley system, but most importantly he never backed down to PSG, Lille, OM, Lyon and he always went for matches. 3. Ketsbaia - Think this man would be brilliant for our club. He's a proven winner and plays good football too from everything I've read. Plus, again - fearless attitude. Be happy with Laudrup or Jol as well mind you.

Anyone notice his shots get blocked a ton? He'd do well to feign a few more times or shoot earlier, imo. He's a great counter attacking option and was perfect in that vs Chelsea but we haven't bombed forward on the counter in ages it feels like.
