it’s different. Liverpool does have PSR headroom but they don’t have the cash on hand. They ain’t PIF. They need to raise funds by selling players first. They simply couldn’t offer that much upfront fees after Wirtz and Ekitike deals. Newcastle on the other hand is troubled by PSR headroom that even Newcastle has unlimited funds it’s limited by PSR.

thats what I said back in June, Ekitike is a replacement in case Isak is sold and that’s also why I think Liverpool isn’t that optimistic re getting Isak. They chose to take the second option first, and see how Isak will react to the rumours. They know we likely won’t let Isak go but it will still benefit him if Isak choose to be a cunt.
