  1. I agree with most of this, especially the players are responsible for the huge drop of revenue.
  2. Congrats, finally a trophy this season
  3. The Hong Kong players are having a monthly salary of around 1500 pounds, FYI

    Sean Longstaff

The other thing I wanna add is I genuinely don’t know why but Longstaff never play well on the left side i.e. Joelintons position. That makes him need to directly compete with Tonali who is fucking world class and absolutely no chance he can win.

    Sean Longstaff

I agree, just like the others said, probably confidence issue. I hope both the club and the player can reach an agreement and give him reasonable salary.
  6. Man Utd went to my secondary school to give a free lesson to the students I am a Man Utd fans now lol

    Sean Longstaff

Yea I think we will renew the contract in the end. Just imagine if I am Longstaff, whilst I am no longer the starting eleven, but my boyhood club is heading to glories and I could still play a part in the journey. I would probably take it, instead of starting the EPL journeyman life. What I want is probably just a good remuneration package since this is probably the last good contract I can get in my career. He isn't far from having playtime too. If Willocks gone then he is just 1-2 injuries away from starting. Selling for good money is beneficial to the club but probably not to the player. And I do think Eddie likes him. So I think he will renew and stay.
  8. I do think we have enquired about him a few weeks ago, when the story first broke out. And very likely we got the answer like thanks for the enquiry our client is very interested to move but he needs time to make the decision etc. After that the agent contacted Barca immediately and tell them either make the move and pay him huge salary or I will bring the player to Newcastle. Smells like Etikite saga again.

I don’t think he will go unless the club force him out.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I don’t think both Longstaff and Willock will be off. In fact I would be surprised if anyone of them can go this summer.
  11. Delap to Chelsea Bad decision for the player and for the club imo. He should go to clubs like Brentford for 2 more years before going to lead the line for the mega clubs At this moment I don’t think he is better than Jackson. Jackson is very underrated
  12. Errr I don’t think it’s good to stuck out middle finger to the fans publicly
  13. I think it’s safe to say that Howe has done and achieved too much that such a structure / model won’t suit him or the club.
  14. Kevin and Sir Bobby are close but breaking the 70 years curse is something else. Howe is no.1.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

but we need what? 3-4 years? Before Dibling become a better player? I would prefer to go for Mbeumo and challenge the title next season, rather than waiting for a few years later when our purple patches might have been gone by that time

Garcia over Trafford for me. I admit I didn’t see Garcia much but surely the best GK in La Liga this season for just 30m is just too good to miss out

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

And Dibling genuinely doesn’t look as talented as those you mentioned.
  18. It’s quite clear that he simply can’t / doesn’t want to stay in the club without Eales.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

40m for Guehi is fine imo, even if just one year left. However anything above 50m would be insane.
  20. Yea I think clubs are basically treating Etikite as the second coming of Isak.
  21. In theory, the DOF should stay for a long time and thus the transfer made by DOF should be for the long term squad building, instead of short term benefit which would benefit the manager more than the club. It’s kinda risk-hedging practice. however given our status this might not be applicable. Put it simple, I don’t think we can find a better manager than Howe, so the risk of losing Howe outweighs the impact of making bad transfers
  22. My take is it kinda proves that Eales and Mitchell have had a plan to kick Howe out - and failed.
  23. Ha. Hahaha. What a waste of time. oh yea, thanks for the Kelly deal. That’s all, fuck all.
  24. If you dare to say your predecessor done a shit job, then obviously you should be able to do a better one eh? And what happened last summer? All those quotes? Leaving Eddie just two centre back available for selection? Even Krafth was out at that time FFS. We are just fucking lucky because Eddie done a blinder. You can just go back to read the post last August / September and see what’s the consensus here.
  25. We sold Anderson and Minteh before end of June to meet the requirement. Subsequently Staveley left the management and Mitchell arrived, started the Guehi fiasco, and publicly stated that our previous transfers were not fit for purpose around end of August. You guys forgot Eddies interview after the transfer deadline already?
