  1. As long as we only sell our top players, to top clubs, I won't mind at all unless I thought they'd be here until they retire e.g. Taylor. We have a lot of good international players, if they perform and we don't qualify for Europe/CL they'll eventually leave. No point being bitter and emitting negative energy because of it. Biggest disappointment is that we didn't get the fee that a player of his quality should demand. Really he should cover Remy & Debuchy's fee. Unfortunately, you deserve what you negotiate.
  2. We wasn't over run yesterday. First half we played okay if a bit too defensive. Started the second brightly then...........
  3. Anita-Cabaye-Marveaux midfield if we press properly would be class i'm not convinced Pardew has the nous or the balls to do it quite frankly. Wet bog roll. Like how the best team in the league has Cleverly-Carrick-Rooney in the same fashion? physicality is overrated and quite frankly all it does atm is restrict us. Funny how very little top teams has players like Cheik yet we need him otherwise we will be overrun They offer owt protection and are one of the reasons they have been conceding so many goals. Fortunately for them, they have the 2 best strikers in the league performing well and another natural goal scorer. They'll get found out by better sides in the CL. 1. We are not a top team. 2. Garcia & Mikel. Even lower Sandro, Parker, Phil f***ing Neville. Madrid use Alonso as a passer and a battler, Khedira is there for physicality. They used Lass last season too. Javi Martinez provides defensive cover as well as passing. Infact you can't bully any of Dias, Schweinsteiger or Martinez. Cabaye and Anita don't provide defensive cover? i'd look at Swansea as one of the blueprints to follow tbh. There's no reason it wouldn't work, at the moment all Tiote is doing giving the ball away he's doing absolutely nothing to stop attacks. Of course i doubt Pards would have the know how or balls to do it but we would keep the ball a lot better and put teams under a lot more pressure by taking the shackles off. Cabaye & anita can get stuck in but they're not the strongest. Constantly getting stuck-in makes Cabaye particularly petulant. Not to mention they're both weak in the air where Tiote yesterday was pretty good. Michu's bigger and stronger than Anita, Cabs & Marv combined ffs. Yesterday, Tiote was the only one who could disrupt Fellaini. Our manager is Alan Pardew. Any Pardew side needs a Tiote and that parts not necessarily a bad thing. Any Moyes side needs a Tiote too.
  4. He'll be a starter for Chelsea by the end of the season. Torres is finished.
  5. From a "that's the way it is" standpoint, maybe the reputation he's largely earned was enough for the non-foul to be given as a free kick for the first goal. A less marked man may have got away with that challenge. Guys in the studio thought it might've been given against Colo. Normally, i'd agree that his reputation went before him but when nobody is even sure of what the infringement was, it's just a plain horrible decision.
  6. Agree with this. Marv likes a forward incisive pass, Shola's not that guy.

  8. He's just conceded 15 goals in 3 games. His confidence must be shot to pieces.
  9. To be fair to them both, where was Perch??? He still was nowhere to be seen when Anichebe put it in the net. I mean in general play. He was in position for goal.
  10. Thought he was okay. Started poorly but stopped losing the ball and did his job well as the half wore on. Decent until the second Everton goal when Pards ruined everything. Started to lose his head. Should've been subbed early he became frustrated with the team and himself, then tried to over compensate. Did a pretty good job keeping Fellaini quiet.

  12. Aye, the most annoying thing he does defensively is jog back into position. Often eh just hopes the attack dissipates as the situation often looks potentially dangerous. Colo does it too at times.
  13. He made the key mistake fro the second goal. I felt we gave away a lot of freekicks in the game but he needed to stop Jelavic by any means.I knew if Jelavic got in the box, they would mpst likely score. If you're CB is in that position and your RB isn't in his place, you will most likely concede. Santon still should've done better.
  14. Needed to do one thing. Stop Jelavic getting into the box, didn't do it.
  15. For the second goal I was just thinking "don't let him get in the box Colo". Colo proceeds to let him waltz in the box
