Excellent result. But I’m a big boy. I judge performances on their own merit. If we lost but played well - I would have positive things to say about how we were setup and performed. Outside of Villa we’ve not played well all season. We are going to keep looking like conceding goals if we keep setting up like this. The defenders actually played really well but we are so open midfield.

I argued this earlier last season. He’s not a winger. He’s never had to track fullbacks down and he’s not good at it. He was tired. And poor for much of the game. he got worse and worse. Isolated again. He’s not suited to this style of play.

Was excellent. Even managed to pass to his own team mates.

Good clearance. Jacob Murphy in it. This is a dream come true so I’m delighted for him. This isn’t his level and it showed.

Thought he was bad. But we looked worse when he went off. No relationships with the others just yet. Barely gets on the ball.

Thought he was the best player on the ball against Brentford and he was great again today. Gets man marked which stops him playing offensively. But he was sharp on the ball all game. And brilliant off it for the entire 95 minutes. A champion.

Aye. I’m delighted at the point. I’ll sleep well tonight. And half of the team were excellent individually. But as a team we were bad. We’ve not played well since GW1. Same issues persist game to game.

Tbf he was sacrificed for sub players Barnes, Livra and Hall.

We conceded 2+ Xg, they had 9 shots on target. I think our defenders played well but we were sliced open time and again and should have lost comfortably. We did well to get a point. A bit lucky really. But the players fought until the end. Excellent result. But we didn’t defend well as a team.

Excellent result. Poor performance. I stand by it. He’s much more of a motivator than a tactician. Holes in the half space. Gap between midfield and defence. Problem for a long time. Isolated striker again and again. Subs look pre determined. No patterns of play attacking wise. Teams are man marking Bruno - does nothing about it. The lads worked their bollocks off and Howe deserves credit for fostering that team spirit. But unless we are pressing - we don’t look like a well coached team atm. Tough games but we haven’t looked good from a coaching or tactical perspective beyond hanging in there. anyway great point well done to all.

He’s not stopped a single cross all game. Chukwueze has him on ice. Pulisic not offered anything. Tbf.

A point would be amazing. They keep knocking on the door.

We’ve not put together a single good passing move. No player in half spaces. There’s nothing for him to think about. Just have to run backwards sometimes.

They just don’t have any ideas. They seem to want to play on the counter.

Because all we offer is pace and he’s fast as owt.

Burn has won a lot of defensive headers from set pieces.

Milan don’t press much. We can bore this game out.
