  1. As far as I've heard - nobody within the game has spoken bad of Pogba's attitude, it's always pundits from the sidelines. Pogba is largely described as professional and influential in a dressing room. Rabiot and his mother continue to disrupt clubs. Going from one controversy to another. The 2 can't be compared attitude wise.
  2. Fair criticism on all counts tbf. To a man, they are all talented players in attack. But none of them perform. Something structural is amiss. Havertz has scored 12 league goals in something like 60 games. 5 (or so) of which have come against teams that have gotten relegated. Absolute criminal.
  3. A lot of players I would've liked us to go for have gone elsewhere. Outside of the other Chelsea lot there's not many I can think of. We'll have to go outside of the box.
  4. He’s shown little as a manager imo. It’s a bad sit when the manager after you does considerably better (Chelsea) and you didn’t do much better than your predecessor (Derby, Chelsea). The one thing he gets credit for is being throufh youngsters. The only post-Takeover players to come through Chelsea’s academy came under Lampard to his credit.
  5. I used to prefer City but i'm firmly in the Liverpool camp this season.
  6. That annoys me to no end. 99% of the time, they change their mind because 3/4 other professionals think they've made a mistake. Would rather save the time and have VAR overrule. I can only remember 1 time last season that a decision wasn't changed after the ref was asked to have a look.
  7. Same. He's got excellent technique. He looks a player. Not effective at all. Did he play RW for Dortmund? He's in my FPL team as well smh. Gambled on a couple kind fixtures.
  8. In the opening weekend there hasn't been any good use of VAR iirc. 100% a penalty.
  9. First game with a proper gaffer. But they look 2 good signings away from being a good XI.
  10. VAR makes the need for rules slightly convulated. If a players hand grazes the ball accidentally, 4 passes later it's then ruled off for handball. That's a bit annoying and shit for the game. But also the Alonso example - is a bit shit for the game of football. This is a decent compromise.
  11. Or the player who handball scores. So last season Alonso controlled the ball with his hand by accident then immediately scored. Handball. Had it come crashing off the post, hit another player and went in - it would've stood.
  12. Nah it has to go in from an action direct from the handball e.g. the player who handballs immediately scores in the same action. Handball before scoring The second change is on accidental handball in the immediate build-up to a goal. If an attacking player’s accidental handball immediately precedes another player scoring, the goal will now be awarded, when last season it was likely to have been ruled out. https://www.premierleague.com/news/2204759#:~:text=Handball before scoring,to have been ruled out. Because it was an own goal - it's a goal. Had it gone in directly - likely to be ruled off.
  13. Nah by the rules it's a goal. If it went straight in off Dalot it would've been ruled out. But it's an own goal.
  14. I disagree here. The team lacks confidence and application. Ronaldo has both in buckets. If he was willing to be a 40-50 minute player - he would be tops.
  15. I really like Rashford. But he's giving Dele Alli vibes.
  16. The rot started long before Ronaldo.
  17. The Willock - Bruno - Joe midfield can compete physically with any team which I like. They would overrun these 3. I hope it's England. Otherwise I think they go for Howe.
  18. IN the Championship aye. I think partly he's been shellshocked. I imagine a few years ago he was effective off the ball at least.
  19. I would take out SMT for a central defender and move Martinez up. They need to compete in midfield and pass it forward.
  20. Chasing a man who is owed £17m by his club.
  21. Nah Moshiri has spent money in the transfer market but it's not the same as City and what we are likely to do. And what Abramovic. You need to big rich enough to write-off and invest several billion pounds. Moshiri can't and won't do that.
  22. It's a shame there's a glass ceiling on clubs like Brighton and Leicester
  23. He's to take some of the blame for this. SMT & Fred can only play halfway decent in a double pivot.
  24. Had a delightful pass earlier. That's about it.
