He plays on the left He plays on the right Hatem Ben Arfa will make you look shite.

He'll play better through the middle as he can then go through the middle or to either side. Stick him on the left and he can only go right, stick him on the right and he can only go left. He plays on the left, he plays on the right, Hatem Ben Arfa will make you look shite!!!

I've got absolutely nothing against Everton tbh. "Respect" their fans for not choosing the easy option and be Liverpool supporters, feel sorry for them for year after year doing well but never have any money, got nothing against Moyes and they've had quite a few players that I've liked recently. Plus the three Everton supporters that I "know" (Niel and 1878 on here, and a regular at the pub where I work) are all good lads, which helps as well. Their support is horrible.

Manchester United vs Newcastle United - Saturday 26th November @ 3pm

They weren't great! I'm confident of our chances of getting a draw, tbh. The bit i saw just after half time they camped in the Benfica penalty area and there was some desperate defending. Even when we were very good we never used to win here and if we somehow come away with a point i'll be over the moon but i won't be holding my breath. -

Rooney will play and judging by the little i saw of last nights game we'll also get our annual humping. -
His positioning and body shape were wrong for the second - something you could maybe forgive a player for, baring in mind he is arguably a midfielder and he was on his wrong side i.e. Left Back. It's probably happened a few times this season in less dangerous positions, with lower quality opposition who haven't done the ultimate damage...although that's not something I could say was 100% correct, I reckon it probably is. You're not wrong in your criticism, I just hope people don't think this justifies him being kicked out the team. As for the first, any player that close to their own goal makes themselves as large as possible, and as hard to beat as possible. An opposition player wont be looking at the defender thinking "His arms are out let's get the penalty." They'll be thinking "f***ing hell, where do I put this" or "I'll just smack it." I don't think Raylor did a great lot wrong here, and I'm not saying you are, but a number on here are just waiting for people like Raylor to fail. If the same happened with a more liked player (possibly Saylor) or a younger player (Santon) then not as many would complain, in my opinion. I think our back four have been outstanding, as has Tim Krul this season, and the stats reflect that. I could be wrong but I don't seem to remember Krul having too many saves to make at the weekend, despite Shiteh's domination. That's pays testament to our full team, but more specifically our back 5. Raylor is more than a squad player at the moment, he's a key player for me, as are the other 4 in the back 5. Their performances have alone have laid the foundation for the midfield and strike force to do their thing. That's not to say anyone else has under-performed, just that this has been the bigegst factor in our success to date. The best defence in the league despite the fact we have played Shiteh, Spuds and Arsenal, not to mention tough away trips to Stoke, Wolves and the scum, says it all really. Sorry Sifu, I don't mean to single you out... Agree with all of this.

I'd enjoy critique, yes. Sarcastic jibes contribute nothing though, and you've made 2 or 3 of them now. He was our best player today along with Colo. I thought Steven Taylor was canny anarl mind

It's not one bad game though, it's the latest. Like shite, i didn't even think he had that bad a game today. he was unlucky with the penalty and needed a shout from someone for the 2nd goal to tell him he had a man onand to just put it out for a corner. otherwise i thought he did well and was not embarrassed at all by Milner or Johnson in the 2nd half. I think that's the mistake people are making, it's not about one game, a couple of mistakes or a fantastic free kick now and then. It's about whether he's good enough to be a left back for a side aiming for Europe. Is he good at snuffing out fast tricky wingers? Can he bring the ball out and move forward without conceding the ball or whacking it long under the slightest pressure? Can he overlap and link with one twos with the wide man? Would any decent team seriously want to buy him like they did with Enrique? He's done a sterling job in an unfamiliar position and hats off to him for that, but we still need a quality left back, if it's not Santon then get someone else in January. From what i've seen Santon is more right footed than Taylor.
-
He played well and looks fitter. easier to start games and make an impact than trying to come into a game and make an impression for 15 minutes.
-
He stood with his arms stretched at shoulder height, how was that unlucky? And how did he need a shout for the 2nd? He was standing next to and facing Richards, what would a shout have told him that his eyes didn't? i thought he was unlucky to have the ball hit his hand and he thought he had more time than he did for the 2nd and needed Krul to tell to him. I think it's very knee jerk of peopel having a go at him as he looked gutted when he came off at halftime as he had done okay otherwise and has been an integral part of what has been the best back 4 in league this season. No way should he be dropped next week.
-
Too right anarl, same back 4 again.

Up the top of the stand watching i hope.

I disagree. I think he'd try and have a blinder for himself but at the expense of the team which doesn't help us. If Sammy starts in a 4-5-1/4-3-3 with ba up front alone and a central 3 of Cabaye, Guthrie and Gosling i think he'll do more for the team than HBA who is more of an individual talent.

Reckon Douglas is reading too much into it imo. £££££££££££££££££££'s man. get him in the shop window for the sheikhs to buy him in January without having to traipse to Darsley park on wet wednesday night to watch him.

I wouldn't call Perch particularly lofty mind.
-
We might get beat, and maybe quite badly, but it won't be because we're scared or we don't work hard. Never said we were scared or wouldn't work hard.
-
I have a feeling of impending doom and am worried now that we are going to freeze and get hammered.
