  1. Reo-Coker is a horrible cunt. Niggling away at Tiote and Cabaye constantly.
  2. So depressingly true. We are the nice guys of football, and we all know what happens to nice guys. I was thinking that when Jonas put the ball out after Reid went down injured. Imagine a ruthless t*** like Blackburn's Pedersen or Seb Larsson or some t*** like that Not that they get any real success, but you know what I mean. I went mad when Jonas did that. On reflection it didn't help his case that he didn't do his job for the umpteenth consecutive game. I was annoyed, kid next to me thought it was only right as it was obvious Reid was knacked but i said we need to be more ruthless.

My mother is better than Ameobi man. What about Demba Ba? Is he better/worse than your mother? After a spectacularly shit start to his NUFC career i have to concede that Demba ba is better than my mother and is the best centre forward we've had since the 1996/97 version of Alan Shearer.
  4. I think we're going to win, can feel it in my bones, The Giants have just whopped the Jets which has me in a good optomistic mood.
  5. Me neither. I was 99% certain Alan Smith was in The Handmade Burger Co. today till he opened his mouth ans spoke with a geordie accent.

  8. Is this from the same lad who told you all of that other guff a month or so back? Nope. Completely different lad, this one is a director at a city of London merchant bank who knows Vetere and Jiminez.
  9. Not in the press but from a mate who is often ITK. He reckons Pardew is as nervous as owt about a £7M buy out clause in Tim Krul's contract which could see him gone in Jan.
  10. Jonas in Fenwicks this afternoon with what looked like his brother and his missus.
  11. That's what i mean, he still wanted the ball, i mean he was lost when we didn't have the ball.
  12. Away Win. HBA right side in place of Obertan Vuckic Off Ba in place of Best Cabaye back to support Tiote Williamson back instead of Perch.
  13. Noticed on MoTd the bench went berzerk when we scored our 2nd except for Obertan who sat there with a face like a smacked arse.
  14. The game passed him by. MotD showed his 2 shots and made it look like he was outstanding whereas i thought he looked lost and put Tiote under massive pressure. Seemed more like Tiote put him under pressure by failing to turn up, giving the ball away continuously and generally having an absolute shitter. I disagree, i thought Vuckic went missing for most of the night and left us massively exposed in midfield. He'll be okay playing ahead of Cabaye and Tiote in an attacking midfield role but not in a central 2.

  16. 3 games running where the oppo has sat deep and challenged us to try and break them down and hit them on the break and we haven't been able to do it. Missed Cabaye massively as we were too anxious and needed to slow things down and be a bit more patient in the build up. MoTD made Vuckic look good whereas i thought the game passed him by and he looked lost leaving massive gaps in midfield for them to exploit.
  17. He did well when he came on but needs to stop trying to do everything himself and stop coming back to the 18 yard line to pick up the ball off our centre halves.
  18. You'll find out an hour before KO
  19. No Ben Arfa then. Not out wide anyway. Depends on the severity of Best's injury, he may play benny up front.
  20. The 'direct line' between Oliver and Shepherd (that Ryder told me personally about) now exists between the communications (PR) team at the club and Douglas/Ryder. Ryder's own views are limited to his blog and webchats. NCJ cannot afford to bite the hand that feeds - and instead works as a sounding board for the club's agenda. As you may have already guessed, every press statement (including Llambias') from the club is written by Wendy Taylor and co. approved at boardroom level, and distributed to the press. I've been advised by a national tabloid sports journalist that they couldn't report such a story without some form of recording. Basically in the past Shepherd was indirectly "The Club Insider" except he never actually spoke to Oliver, his mate Les Rayner did.
  21. He's 20 year old and been out a long time injured man, give him a chance.
  22. To choose : - Pardew wants to protect him and introduce him gradually - Pardew is more severe with him for his sake (the Mourinho method with Benzema) - Pardew has his gameplan in which Hatem isn't suitable - Pardew is punishing Hatem's bad attitude and non-professionalism NUmber 1 in My John Humble like. He's just taking it easy with him to make sure he's okay after such long lay off.
  23. As long he's not an adult using a kids ticket there'll be no bother.
  24. Even if he didn't score against City, I thought his game very, very promising, in a different role than he had at Goodison. He just needs the same run of games (and confidence from Pardew) given to Obertan Would agree with this actually, if HBA got the confidence shown in him that Obertan enjoys and got a decent run of games he'd be back to his best that much sooner. Obertan hasn't had a year out with a career threatening injury followed by another knock during his comeback keeping him out again.
  25. Personally think too much is expected of Ben Arfa due to that one game and that's why Pardew has used him sparingly to protect him particularly after his long lay off.
