Was in Revolution for opening time and a gang of young scouse urchins tried to storm the doors and get in and were seen off by the barman with a mop which he was using to mop the floor at the time. The game wehere Shearer scored that volley was one of the mostbizarre, boring, frustrating shite performances i've ever witnessed. Everton scored early in the game and parked the bus and we couldn't break them down. Shearer scored his screamer with about 5 minutes to go and then bellamy scored with a deflected cross/shot from the byline in injury time and we won 2-1.

If Pardew is going to be consistent with his management, then Guthrie should start. In the same way we all know RTaylor is inferior to Santon, he is playing because he does not deserve to be dropped. From the glimpses i've seen this season HBA Seems to prefer the mazy dribble to the simple pass and i agree with HTT that he may not really fit into our team play at all as he appears to want his own ball to play with.

I expect some minor "rotation", but there again I thought he'd mix it up for the Wigan game and he didn't. Much will depend on the reaction he sees in training this week. I think one of our biggest strengths has been that 7 players have started every single game and we've had little or no rotation.

I thought it was a very good idea to bring Perch on and get stuck into Stoke late on to say to them we can mix it with you and ain't going to crumble. I also thought his booking was a bit harsh given what Huth got away with.
