  1. Typing error perhaps? must be 3 years surely?
  2. he has been known on quite a few occasions to get caught in possession and try and play his way out of trouble near our own penalty area rather than just give it leather upfield/out of play and come unstuck. That's what makes him a good player in my book. Any twat can leather it upfield but for good possession you need full backs who can come out with the ball. If that means he'll lose the ball once in a while then it comes with the territory. It happened more than once in a while last season mind.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Do you think his broken leg was due to him not being good enough, strong enough or quick enough? No but think it's poor to suggest we cherry pick "soft" games to play him in.

What's the point of playing someone if you're constantly scared they're gonna get kicked off the park. Should be better, quicker, stronger and able to ride tackles or avoid them while running rings around them man. Ronaldo, Best, Maradona, Pele, Eusabio etc had hatchet men after them all the time but they never shirked and ended up making the kickers look like fools.
  6. Because someone's going to have to be content to try and constuct a decent team using the scraps he's given. Furthermore he's going to have to talk to fans and the media knowing full well he's most likely telling a load of blatant lies. I'll ask it once again, why do people think we ended up with an unemployed manager with a dubious track record and nothing left to lose? Casino debts were alleged at the time.
  7. Canny shot of that interview lass's arse on thir mind. you can understand why Jonas and Pards were distracted.
  8. It's nothing to do with money, he simply doesn't like the direction the club is going in and the lies that go with it Then why mention the contract and wages he's been offered? It's all about the money.
  9. Will you earn £60k this week? This Month? This Year? Thought not. When did you last get a 20% pay rise? I've never ever had one that big. I got a 3% rise last October and that was the first rise i'd had for 3 years due to the economic downturn. He needs to take a big reality check.
  10. Pards never said he'd offered him a pay rise, he said he's been offered one of the best deals ever offered by this club.
  11. Which rather blows his tweet about the new contract out of the water as well.
  12. I heard he was getting fined 2 weeks wages.

  16. He's travelled Business Class and being a naive young lad didn't realise this entitled him to go in the executive lounge where food and drink are free.
  17. Bad Vibes about this one mind. Mind you, knowing our lot they may go out and hammer them we're so unpredictable.
  18. Cabaye? Just won the league in France and gave up the opportunity to play in the Champions League to sign for us. How is he not a "quality player"? I think Jose's made himself look a bit stupid and petulant tbh.

I have unobstructed view of SJP from city centre office. I haven't seen any building type activity taking place yet this summer, but my view is from behind the east stand looking at the milburn.

    Alan Pardew

That's ridiculous. There's no way one defeat - to whoever it is - will put him on the ropes. You think if we beat Arsenal 2-1 then lose to Sunderland 3-0 that Pardew will be on the ropes? Ridiculous. Beating Sunderland is better than beating any other team but you still get only 3 points at the end of the day, so a loss isn't the end of the world. If we lose 3 zip to Sunderland his position is untenable man. It doesn't bear thinking about.
