This Athletic v Eibar game has been very good. 4-2. Aduriz has scored two wonderful goals.

I like him and I can definitely see him as our #9 one day. He's not there yet though. Kid is only born '94 as well. Didn't even see Romario win a World Cup so to write him off is stupid. In other words we do need another striker, preferably a bit older and maybe a short-term option? I think Remy on loan is the best and most realistic signing we could make right now.

Unlike you to judge a player's ability so soon. What was that about Demba Ba again?! Did you even read what I'd wrote?? I said it was a strange signing for January as he's expected to hit the ground running and change things. If signed in the summer window he has pre season to get to know the players and establish himself. We need a striker who can create chances himself as well as convert them, Loic Remy fits that bill and is what we need. I don't think he was signed to hit the ground running tbh. We got injuries to both Anita and Colback who I still expected to start ahead of this guy for the first couple of weeks at the very least. I still say, play this guy over Colback any day of the week and let him adapt. We can't be much worse in central midfield than what we've been this season. Also agree on the striker part, we need one and fast.

The sig thomas man

Wasn't he offside when the free-kick was sent in...adss adassadsasaadsda

That's offside.

I think he always was tbh, other than he should be getting more goals considering he can strike a ball pretty well. At Newcastle there was too much pressure on players like him when we had veteran superstars who were either s**** or past their peak. He's a classic Klopp player. Klopp loves a good finisher.

Think ref could've given a yellow, but as long as he's consistent I think it was a good decision to let it go.
-
Very very average imo. Don't think he's horrible or anything. But he's not a bloody good player or class
-
They can't defend either. That's why they haven't won a World cup and never will. To be honest, they only ever get moves to clubs in Europe because they are big, strong and fast. Imagine if they just did running instead, Africa would dominate the Olympics man. Wasting themselves playing footy. Is this motherfucker serious?

How did Turan do? Did well. Barcelona played some weird 4-4-2 hybrid. Wasn't a 4-3-3 as they're used to. Sergi Roberto at left back as well and he did very well imo.

Dani Alves was excellent for 89minutes. Two brain farts in 40 seconds or so there.
-
He's been sporting that since before Christmas. Nice way to start the tie. Yeah, saw pictures of that just now. Hadn't noticed it at all.

Iniesta has a mohawk. Badass Had not seen it before.

1-0 Barcelona, undeserved. If Munir can put the ball in the net like that he can become a very good player. Very technical, but just a horrible finisher otherwise.

Worst footballer I've seen in my lifetime. Makes Perch, Huntington, Ramage, Amdy Faye all look like fantastic footballers. Still absolute legend, they should keep him

I think he'd make enough of a difference. He's got the potential to take a game by the scruff of the neck, and some real nous. You don't need amazing to stay up, you just need to improve on the glaring weaknesses in the middle (defence and midfield)... Starting Saivet ahead of all their midfielders when he's played less than 40 minutes for you . They're in the top half despite having a dodgy keeper and defence, and a big lump up front. Their midfield can't be that bad. I get that every football forum is like this, but it's dangerously RAWKish. What I'm trying to say, it's a bit embarrassing really. They're a better side than us both their starting eleven and their squad as whole.

Sandro is very average.

Just a week or so ago Shelvey was on the bench for Swansea. All of the sudden he'd walk straight into the Liverpool side. Only two players I'd say walk into that side with ease is Wijnaldum and Sissoko.
-
That is a bit ridiculous to say tbh. So you'd start Colback + Anita ahead of their midfielders? Is Perez better than Coutinho? Come on man, let's not get carried away after beating West Ham 2-1 at home. We've been absolutely dreadful this season and so have they yet they're about a million points ahead of us. I did say starting line up, so nah, I´d start Shelvey and Saivet ahead of their midfielders. Not much between Perez and Coutinho for me, but I prefer Perez as he seems to be more versatile and hard working.

He's very inconsistent that I agree with, but a player like him can still win you a match with the a moment of brilliance and since Sturridge is basically dead he's their best player by far. They need to get more mobile players in front of him however. Firmino has been a disappointment, Lallana is nowhere near his Southampton level and Ibe is nothing special.
