Goalkeepers are supposed to make themselves bigger, but he kinds of puts his body into position to get even smaller. I'm seriously amazed. It's like a hockey goaltender throwing away all the protection right before someone comes one on one. How do you manage that? I thought the exact same with both goals, re him somehow becoming smaller Terrible goalkeeping on both accounts. Take nothing away from that horrible little majestic b****** though, I hope he controversially takes them to the final for the laughs.

Problem is we can't cheat properly. Tonight couldn't have been a better example. Uruguay saw the ref early on for what he was (poor) and played him a dream. Same happens in the CL when big English refs are told to keep to the narrative. Fair enough, were some absolute horrendous attempts from the Liverpool players.

Back to tennis I say, tennis expert. They just lost to Costa Rica, they almost didn't qualify for the World Cup and their defense is on the decline. They have Suarez and Cavani and that is seriously all. Pretty sure Uruguay will prove you real wrong this tournament. Lets see then. They already are. I had them finishing 3rd in the whole tournament and thought they'd run away with this group. They lost to fucking Costa Rica and need at least a draw in the last game to go through if CRica doesn't surprise again.

Quick question, I don't blame him, but how does a keeper the size of Hart manage to make him so small every time in situations like that. He actually gets smaller on one on ones.

Some people are obsessed with criticizing Rooney while Welbeck and Gerrard has done absolutely fuck all in this game. Sorry, but while Rooney isn't doing well he's not the first one to head to the bench IMO.

Aye. No idea what he's been like at club level but seems better than Tiote at this level. One of the worst players to ever perform decently on the international stage. He seems to grow in games like this, but in league games he's horrible.

TBH I think Brazil's been worse than those two teams have impressed. We've been overall better than both teams yet we've been absolutely dogshite considering what we've shown since Scolari became manager. Don't know if players are feeling pressure or if Scolari is waiting for the knockout phase to bring the intensity and high pressure game from the Confederations Cup. Think Fred's niggling injuries and only playing to 80% has killed us this far, we have no reference in attack.

That far better croatian midfield of yours managed to have a whopping 40% ball possession during the opener. While Brazil were absolutely terrible, let's not kid ourselves and think Croatia were better than Brazil. Also, Mexico's organization and defence is their best bet and to hit the counter with Dos Santos and Peralta. Really think Mexico are in the driving seat and having kept two clean sheets I'm not sure Croatia has a 65% of qualifying. Mexico only needs a draw, don't forget that and as Mexico has shown on big occasions it's hard to beat them. Still think you'll do it, but I'd definitely say Mexico is in the driving seat.

Think I enjoyed this a bit too much considering we're not even safe.
