I take it back looking at that bench.

This England side is decent if you disregard the fact that players like Smalling and Welbeck actually get to start.

Not far off, although I think you'd be surprised about the number of managers who think basically the same thing, even in the Premier League. Possibly one has just got the Man Utd job. That's true, but that doesn't mean in still doesn't belong in the lower leagues rather than the Premier League. There's a reason to why quality is falling while money is increasing in this league, and it's all down to philosophy. This league has everything to have the best teams in the world competing for the CL year in year out, but that hasn't been the case with some few exceptions. With the money involved in these clubs all four PL teams should reach a minimum of quarterfinals each year.

You're absolutely nuts man, I mentioned an improvement in the 2 line post you quoted but don't let that get in the way of whatever crap you want to post. Don't see why you even bother responding to him. The fact that he believes people on here actually rather get rid of Pardew than see us winning with him is enough. I do give him praise for being happy for us having some improved performances for 15-20 % of games, and let me add SLIGHT improvements. We've been fucking horseshit for most part, but let's just forget that and look upon the good 15 minutes where we tried to do something for once.

They've been fairly successful in under 21s and 17s in the last decade if I'm not completely out of my mind.

The Swiss team is extremely organized and strong. Been seriously impressed whenever I've seen them. Hitzfeld has done a really good job there.

This one was far worse. Elmander went head to head with Alaba and then fell Ortega style. Neymar is the best player in the World. Barcelona don't need Messi no more
-
Sweden through to the playoff.
-
Zlatan makes it 2-1 and then Elmander makes one of the worst dives I've seen in a while for a Arnautovic red card.

? Italy and Holland have better teams than them. On paper they're on par with Portugal and Holland. France. I'd add Uruguay purely on offensive power. Belgium lack a lot. They're not great at any position. People always underrate Italy in these discussions. As if them getting to the final last year never happened and they aren't the 2nd most successful international team. Thought he had mentioned Italy. For me Italy is the 5th best team in the world. If I arranged it by levels it would be: Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Germany Italy Belgium, Holland, Portugal, France, England, Uruguay Argentina and Uruguay down a level for me. I may be biased, but I'd put us on that second level too.. With a 3 out of 3 record at the Euros I'd be inclined to agree We're also WC finalists I'll have you know.. That shambles of a Euros tournament hasn't done much for our reputation, but we're still a team to be reckoned with for the next WC if you ask me. However, we finally need to get a good tournament out of Van Persie for once. Absolute horseshit that you guys beat us at the last WC. You guys weren't even that good at the World Cup. Fluke of a win. I find Italy better, but would probably put Holland at 6th if I made a ranking. Tsk tsk you weren't anything special either.. Probably only team capable of beating Spain with our menacing counter attack. We totally outplayed you in the first half, and then van Bommel decided to mentally fuck us with his complaining and Felipe Melo had a brainlapse. That Stekelenburg save from Kaka's shot was the gamechanger. What a save. He picked it from inside the goal basically, was such a beauty of a shot.

I'll say 2nd in their group, and out against a team like Argentina or Spain in the last 32.

Courtois, Mignolet Kompany, Vertonghen, Vermaelen, Alderweireld, van Buyten Witsel, Defour, Fellaini, Hazard, de Bruyne, Lukaku, Benteke That's on a part with anything imo. Give it a break man. Witsel, Defour, Fellaini and De Bruyne are all above average footballers, they're not great. Hazard hasn't been anything special, and that defense without a Kompany in form will probably leak goals. Lukaku and Benteke are perfect for the Premier League, but lack a lot of intelligence and technique and finesse.

Super offside goal by Austria.

Can't be man, Argentina, Italy, Spain, Brazil and Germany must surely be favourites. I mean what bookie is that??
-
They'll be seeded. Which is absolutely ridiculous.
-
I don't know, on paper I'd argue there's at least 5 teams that are better and four of them are better with a bit of margin. I like Belgium, having lived there half my life, but I still doubt the quality of that midfield to create.
-
Belgium next team in. Scary team, so much potential, but I think a bit too unexperienced to cause any major problems. People might think they might be the surprise package, but they have good enough players to go far. Won't forget the 2002 against Belgium. Definitely Brazil's hardest match in the tournament. Think it was the only game where we looked actually capable of losing.

What is this s***? Santon is a far better footballer and younger, he does have his lack of defensive intelligence at times, but I think he's a better fullbacker than we've been used to at this club over many years now. Not sure about that. His predecessor pisses all over him for one. Yup, and he's the best fullback I can remember of in the last 10 years. Ramage? Hungtington? Babayaro? Carr? Steven Taylor? Debuchy? Danny Simpson? Andy Griffin? Damien Duff? Ryan Taylor? Habib Beye was decent but also asked to fuck off and I think Santon has a higher ceiling.

You got what you deserved for betting against this legend. http://www.barbadillo.it/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/WALTER.jpg
