If we stay in the league I hope we pursue a goalscoring winger a la Remy and a central defending beast who can maybe score a goal or two on corners. Gouffran isn't good enough to play winger a whole season and I'd believe with his speed would be more effective off the bench. We need someone like Remy who can play wide and up top and score goals.

Sign Neymar and someone like Cavani and you're set for years to come. All three can play centrally or wide and can mix.

He's comparing a guy who's had very good spells to a guy who was the worlds absolute best for two years. Actually he isn't even comparing, he's suggesting Bale is better. He'll look absolute quality whatever you tell him to do because he's physically unstoppable. Kaka was going downhill physically just before he went to RM. He wasn't the same player anymore. As much as I love Ben Arfa if he has another season like his last 2 then he is fairly easily replaced, not with the same quality but someone half as good playing twice as much will be a lot more use to us. Last 2? Last season he probably won more games for us than we could imagine. We went six straight games winning when he was back in the side. I'd be happy to have him even if it means only 15games a season. Benny, Cabs, Krul and Colo are non-replaceable at the moment. I would prefer someone who will play more than a third/quarter of a season but each to their own. Me too, but where are we going to find two players as good as Benny?
