Thought exactly the same. About time the youngster get their chance to step up. Tiote will probably play from Swansea on till the ANC. I think our biggest trouble is still in the back. I think Cabaye can lead Abeid, Vukcic or Gosling in playing decent and I think all three have potential. However, if we lose Colo for longer, we're so fucked until January we won't know whats coming till we're hit by a huge fucking bus.

i'm sure the extra in the box over the line official 2 tds from the goal in the basel game didn't give the decision for the man utd goal. Yes he gave the decision.

Tevez is clearly illadvised. The man is an example of exactly what a footballer should be on the pitch, never wanting to go out, giving 150% every game and technically gifted. However, he seems to be such a bother off the field you have to think its his advisors who are the real problem. Kia is a cunt of the highest order.

Obertan should not start in this game, actually I don't want to see him on the field come saturday. Been really really bad for except 2-3 games this season.

Can see Real beating Ajax 2,3-0 and Lyon going berserk and trashing Zagreb 5-0.

So what? The hypocrisy in calling the likes of Nolan and Enrique money-grabbing/greedy etc. Half of the tools who call them such things will be saying the same about Coloccini in the summer... I actually don't think Enrique or Cabaye for that matter were wrong in what they did. Enrique left wanting more recognition in his own country somethins he's getting as he plays for Liverpool and not because of money. I think he made the right choice in that sense that his biggest dream is to play for the national team and he'll have a bigger chance at getting there playing for Liverpool (hurts to say it, but that's the truth). Cabaye left the French League, which in no way is even close to being as big as the english. He left a team which he had been playing with for 10 () years. He left a team where he possibly felt he won everything that he could win. He left a club to play for a club which is one of the biggest outside of France in terms of recognition with players like Ginola, Robert and Waddle who played here. Ben Arfa coming here also raised our reputation in France. Also he left Villeneuve-d'Ascq little Stade Lille-Metropole with a capacity of around 20 000 for a stadium with great history with around 52 000 seats. Now Nolan on the other hand, left a team for a lower league side looking for his last paycheck, that's his life decision and economically he probably made the right thing for himself. But he left us for a club for his last paycheck, meaning he is a fat greedy fuck . I'm happy he did it, as it was the right decision for all parties involved. But don't compare Enrique or Cabaye with Nolan, as they never did it for their last paycheck.

Marseille was just class.

You're not disagreeing that all of these names are comfortably poorer players than Perch....but you still claim Perch is worse? You're a troll it's extremely clear. I wasn't disagreeing that they were shit since I haven't seen them, just that Perch must be worse than Faye. Sometimes you should give it a read once or twice before going after the person, it was directed towards NEEJ_Hunter talking about Amdy Faye. Sorry for not quoting. But KUTGW Stu.

Howard Webb is so bad.

Give Ramires creds

Milan, Leverkusen and Shaktar. Big money on all.

Don't think Colo in midfield would be as bad as Tiote in CB. Colo could definitely do a better job than most in our squad in the DM position. He's comfortable at the ball, wins tackles and is disciplined.

Not disagreeing just saying that Perch is worse

I wouldn't be worried if we had Sammy at the back with Colo either. Colo is god.

Perch is s***. End of story really. so was ryan taylor, he's been more than adequate till the last 3 games. Different. Raylor was never s***. He just isn't the best footballer around. He scored 4 goals against us meaning something really. Perch on the other hand, dare I say is the worst footballer I've seen play for us (except this weekend when he wasn't totally bad). He looks scared on the ball and looks very very weak. Has nothing about him except possibly that he works hard which suggests he should even be a footballer. it's a good job you're young if he's the worst you've seen for us. raylor also often played in midfield so the goals point is moot. perch looked ok on saturday so lets hope with the teamwork ethic we've seen he gets through and gains in confidence. madras is spot on here, Philip is talking in hyperbole, again. GTFO No it's not about age though, my dad said its one of the worst players he has ever seen on a football pitch too and he has seen him play for possibly 15 minutes. Perch looks scared and nervous, like he doesn't know what to do with the football everytime it is with him. He's really not good, and Raylor iirc scored from the left-back position against us at least once or twice. Raylor isn't a very good footballer, but he's never been s*** to the degree of Perch. Perch has no footballing ability whatsoever. Your lucky you didn't have to see Archie Goolie play for us, now he was s****..........and as for Des Hamilton...... Amdy Faye? Are you kidding me? Him, Ramage, Huntington were all poor players. Especially Faye, but at least he didn't look shit scareless whenever on the ball. Amdy Faye and Alan Smith are on the same level, poor but nowhere near as shit as Perch. Fortunately I never saw Archie Goolie and Des Hamilton, but since 2000 when I really started to follow this team every weekend I haven't seen a worse player. He's above those lot, of course I haven't seen Perch in the League Cup, but conceding an average of 3,5 goals or so in those matches suggests that he was everything except great.

Man the day he turns it around and becomes a decent FOOTBALLER is the day none of us are on this earth. Alien Perch

And thoroughly, like crack their skull open take a piece of brain out and send it to a f***ing laboratory. Im just scared shitless of Simpson and Perch being our two centrebacks. This is the position we are in. We need to deal with it. When we have Santon and Kadar available who are both 6" plus, then really it shouldnt be Simpson and Perch. You never know like. i don't really think height matters as much as it once did. No but what qualities does Tiote have that a CB should possess? I mean the guy is great because he never stops running and is all over the midfield. if he was all over the backline we would have so much trouble we might as well be relegated now. i'm not saying tiote should be played there, more so because of his impetuousness in the tackle and what i would see as his lack of being able to read the game from that position, more so than his lack of height. Obviously height doesn't matter that much, I mean Cannavaro was a small player and still won best of the world. My point is that with Perch and Tiote we have no height and power in total to win enough headers. Neither are built for the CB role.

He's about 5ft 10"-11" still, I agree about putting him at centre back, mad idea. That's shorter than me. MIDGET

Dedé the CB who someone mentioned in the Realistic Transfer Targets ( ) won the prize as Best player of the Brazilian league ahead of Neymar. The kid has tremendous qualities as a CB and is twice the player that Luiz is. Only player to completely stop Neymar from having a good game during the last 12 months. This was the publics vote, as Neymar won the federations voting.
