I reckon Yakubu's one of the most effective forwards in the league when he's fit and up for it... always rated him highly. Yakubu and effective just doesn't belong together.

Am I the only who disagree with Coloccini being our best player this season so far? He looked shaky against Man Utd and Villa for the first half. Enrique on the other hand has performed well in every match. Jonas has been ok, he's not the best player at his position but definitely our best attacking player since Ben Arfa has been injured. He look sto create at least, and I don't know if he just keeps on running cause he doesn't rely on his teammates ability or if he simply is a chickenhead. But for me Enrique has been the best player this season by far. Colo has been great, don't take this wrong, but Enrique has been better.

The only problem with Barton is that if he and Tiote are to play together in midfield we need three attacking midfielders who are capable of moving around because neither Tiote or Barton are the best going forward. Barton is very good on the ball, but taking it forward he rarely seems to do any good with it, but he will score the occasional goal since he has a good shot and can take penalties. With an immobile Nolan it will be impossible for him to play at his best or with a 4-4-2.

Perch was the only player who was on our right, N'Zogbia had acres of space and Enrique would have struggled in his position. Perch was poor but he had no protection at all. Come on its still 1 against 1. Had their leftback been there and Guthrie not then sure. N'Zogbia raped him time after time.
