  1. Definitely good value for the draw, playing well after a shaky first five. Good to see the movement is still there and backed up with some confidence. Bit annoyed at how the pressure on our defenders is limiting Kruls distribution with the ball often coming back to him before it's launched long, we are not doing the same and Lloris has all the time and choice he needs for Tottenham to build from the back.

It would take a cretin of the highest order to prevent these players from being good, the odd ok game aside. Any more of the shit we saw earlier this season and he has zero respect or patience left.

I wasn't debating the available personnel but the style and method of play. I'm sure if you read my post again you will see my point clearer. Oh hang on, got to put the obligatory lol to show you how condescending I am.

He should have the options now. It's on him but tbf this season he has often not had much choice, starting 11 or subs. Yesterday he got it spot on, hopefully he realises we have the players capable of turning things around/forcing the issue. Not sure I agree with that, at least not completely. For it was still up to him how the team played and we watched enough games to know there was an underlying fear to the instructions. We've also seen the team play on the front foot often enough, usually against the stronger teams, only to revert to a right royal fuck up against some lesser light. The praise (or just plain acknowledgement) he gets for yesterdays game is due, but it doesn't change the method and mentality of 20 previous fixtures. As of now I don't have faith he will allow this to continue in the same vein, perhaps until the next loss when everything will revert to basics. Fear them and hold on. He really needs to tell these boys to play, because they can. If he turns a corner and maintains this style and freedom I'll be among the first to praise him, but he needs to have a run of quite a few games before I'll forget some of the horror shows that have been served up.

Who do we think Pardew will drop to accommodate him? I know I'd put Jonas on the bench but Pards???
  6. OMFG we won! OMFG we came from behind to win! OMFG we played football, we fucking played FOOTBALL! OMFG I'm going for a wank!
  7. Love to be a fly on the wall of that dressing room. Wonder what the fuck Pardew is saying.
  8. Delighted then I realised who had scored it and felt a bit flat. First name on the team sheet now.
  9. Just seen the team. Still, we've got a strong bench.

Those doubting that Pardew tells the players to clear the ball to our lone Shola ask yourselves this. If that wasn't Pardews instructions do you not think he would be telling them to stop doing it as its so clearly ineffective. He'd be shouting from the touchlines. Stop hitting it long ffs, the ball is just coming straight back at us. Funny none of that happens, repeatedly, game after game after game.

No he didn't, he replaced them with players you don't like, end of, there is no balanced view, just reactionary nonsense. Where's the Debuchy outrage for last night, when does Santon get as much stick as Williamson (coz sure as hell he's cost us as many, if not more, goals this season as Williamson has). Impartial views: Nigel Pearson Talkshite: "I though Newcastle were excellent" BBC text - "Newcastle retaining the ball much better in the final third since Ameobi came on" Actually, I didn't word that very well. I didn't mean the players were pointless, I meant the positional changes were. When we're increasingly under pressure in front of our back four he pulls off Perchy and puts on Shola???

Utter Utter Utter Garbage We held on after being under the cosh, having gifted them a goal - if Simpson had done what Debuchy did he'd be getting crucified on here, Krul actually made some saves for once. We won away from home, Cabaye and Sissoko were excellent until they tired. We won after a team came back at us, previously a team scores and we fold, this time we didn't. Laugahable !!, when we lose it's Pardew's fault, when we win it's despite Pardew. WE WON A GAME, AWAY FROM HOME, NO LESS !!! If winning 4-0 is your benchmark of acceptability, you may as well pack in and start watching basketball. Confidence is an incremental thing and I'll quite happily take some scraped results whilst it builds. Either you have as much comprehension of tactical changes as Pardew has or you never actually watched the second half.

Fucked off to bed last night without posting this because I was too fed up with the prick. In the second half when it was obvious Villa had changed tactics, and I'm not talking about upping their game but the wing play, all Pards had to do was consider a simple tactical response. I was calling for Sissoko to be dropped deep alongside Perch, giving our midfield more width and protection for our full backs. Jonas off Anita on. Pretty much problem solved. 10 minutes later on strolls Shola (for Perch ffs) in yet another Pards masterstroke. Pards took off useful outlets and replaced them with pointless players. Can barely wait for the day this twat is gone from the club.
