Aye for now they are. Think it's meant to make them stand out, but it's not an easy fix. We want them fixed and will seek help with it, along with a couple of other things.

Can people start hoying words like "allegedly" and stuff in there a bit more often please? I know it's a discussion about a TV programme and everything around that, but we still need to be careful.

I've been sucked in the Pards' propaganda, but he appears to see him as viable centre-half cover. He apparently impressed there for Forest. I have a feeling I know how it'd turn out but he probably deserves a chance. He's a poor footballer but he might not need to play so much at centre-back. Let's hope we never see him there, though.

I'm not complaining like, just interested to know. They could be from outer Mongolia if they were good enough. I've qualified it to British (and was tempted to include the Irish given that they're basically British). If Shane Ferguson pushes on Steven Taylor could be last man standing.
-
Have we ever had such an international line-up by the way? When you look at our "strongest" team on paper (pretty much whichever way you cut it, unless you're a huge Shola fan) there's probably only two British players in it (S. Taylor and R. Taylor/Simpson).

Krul R. Taylor S. Taylor Coloccini Santon Obertan Cabaye Tiote Jonas Marveaux Best Subs: Elliot, Simpson, Perch, Gosling, Guthrie, Ba, Lovenkrands. Feel like a shit leaving Sammy out altogether in this proposed line-up, but I'd be very surprised to see him get the nod considering we've got so many "senior" players fit at the moment. Would be pleasantly surprised to see him and Ferguson on the bench instead of Perch and Lovenkrands. Especially considering they'd offer us more options in that suggested line-up above. I'm usually an advocate of 4-4-2, but if QPR are playing 4-3-3/4-4-1-1 then we might struggle in the middle - as we did against Arsenal and Fulham before switching things up. Give Marveaux a free role and see how he does.

Massive risk to just throw all the new lads in. Let's hope we can take advantage of it.

I really don't know mate, sorry. My brother whipped it up for us and I just gave him some general direction as to how it should look. It is fucking class like.

Tapatalk is its own entity unfortunately, I was looking to see if it was customisable but couldn't find anything to say it was. May just sort itself out as there were other images missing yesterday that are now showing up.

There will be, yeah. They should be much, much faster. No need for one tonight though

"Newcastle-Online" is the forum index and "NUFC" is the category title of the Football board (it also houses NOFC, Tickets & Travel). I know what you mean with it being a bit redundant overall, but you'll just have to remember to click "Football".
-
Agree with this, but not something I'd be comfortable changing - or even able to change. It's the new SMF default unfortunately.
-
We had to upgrade to 2.0, we couldn't bring the old theme across unfortunately. It wasn't compatible. I've tried to make this one as similar as possible in terms of colours, but we're restricted by the SMF default theme for shapes/placements of most things.

I think that's a browser feature, isn't it? If you spell a word wrong does your browser not automatically underline it? Makes the in-board spellcheck feature slightly redundant and saves us from having to do more installation stuff.

You can get things installed onto the server which make this forum software run a lot more efficiently. Speeds everything up massive amounts on forums as big as this one.
-
Probably good to mention that we're currently running without optimisation, which we did actually have on the old server. We're going to need to get someone in to add that for us, along with a few other things. Search will be shit for a while as well, unfortunately. However, the good news is things are supposed to be 30%+ faster when those things are done, so it will only get better.

I like this thread much more than the other one.

I'll change the setting, it's an Admin one.

He didn't have the time to do it. We've left the option open to him if he wants to in the future. We just had to get moved, basically.

Dave's a bad man. Cheers though, to you and Interpolic. Hopefully all the disruption will be worth it when we're sitting pretty on SMF 2.0 with all our new bells and whistles. The IP thing is normal at the moment mate, it should be back to being the normal URL by Monday.

The cookie will be titled "SMFCookie11" if that's any help. You might be able to find it in a search and delete it.

Might need to delete your cookie for this place mate. What browser do you use?
