  1. There's some good ones in the archive about Napoli as well, if I remember rightly. Worth a look.
  2. Aye, just checked it after getting a heads-up. May just be a temporary issue as there's some background work ongoing with the server today.
  3. Only option is to travel to Nottingham, England my friend. Surely its a stream somewhere?? Not that i would recommend anyone to do it, as its illegal. And you, how are you going to follow the match ? I was tempted to break the law and stream. But does not look like it will be shown anywhere. I refuse to give up! Can anyone here bring a HD cam and stream it live for us at NO? It's not on TV anywhere, people will have to find a radio link somewhere (not here). Radio streams are still illegal, unfortunately.
  4. Not up to your new standards Jon. Not at all.
  5. That was just a final backup there people, sorry about the brief downtime. Just wanted to get a hard copy of all of the website onto my laptop for a bit of extra security.
  6. This debate is absolutely rank, man. I've been drawn into some fucking daft arguments around semantics on here, but this is a whole new level of madness. Why? Well, let's start with the fact that it has stemmed from HTT's fictional one-man ranking system. Need I say more? I actually enjoyed it, but only because I'm as gay for Shearer as he is by the looks of things. He did miss one key area where Big Al scores 10 too though, in the bracket entitled "looks department".
  7. Krul Simpson Perch Coloccini R. Taylor Obertan Gosling Guthrie Marveaux Sh. Ameobi Lovenkrands Subs: Elliot, S. Taylor, Ferguson, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Sa. Ameobi, Ba. This is mainly based on Pardew saying he wants to use this game to "keep the squad happy", but it's a tough one to predict. What I've taken from that comment is that he'll give starts to the senior players who haven't been involved too much so far/didn't start against Villa. Hopefully if it does look something like this we'll get an opportunity to give Ferguson and Sammy some gametime, while also sneaking Hatem on near the end to torment them. I do think that team would have enough to see us through, mind, although if it was just a bit stronger on paper I'd be far happier. It would be a good chance to see if Perch does have any credentials at all as legitimate centre-half backup because if Forest start Derbyshire and Miller it could be a good test for him. Pardew might just bring him in for one of the fullbacks, though, to keep the centre-half pairing together, but I have a feeling he'll hedge his bets and try and give one a rest/minimise the risk of injury.
  8. Parky scores points so much easier than Kenny
  9. Cheers Decky, I liked the Twitter mention too. You're a good 'un.
  10. Alright folks? Just a quick heads-up to let everyone know that we're finally active on both Facebook and Twitter. You may have noticed the new icons at the top of each page that direct you out to our new social networking sites (below the Search box): http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/Themes/Newcastle-Online/images/Facebook.png http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/Themes/Newcastle-Online/images/Twitter.png If you use either social networking platform please give us a helping hand by clicking "like" on Facebook and by following us on Twitter. Both are obviously in their infancy, but we thought they'd be a good idea to help us reach a wider audience and attract new members. They should get a lot busier with time and will mainly be used to plug threads on here containing breaking news and the match threads, etc. Hope people like everything!
  11. Think there might be work going on in the background, had a couple of stumbles. We've got someone tinkering with the site between now and Tuesday.

  14. Still don't think this will be a 4-4-2, but surprised at the lineup nonetheless. Had expected Gosling or Marveaux to start.
  15. He won't go 4-4-2 again if his interviews since QPR are anything to go by.
  16. Broke it completely about half-a-dozen times before getting lucky with the solution. I am so far out of my depth with this stuff man
  17. That's default SMF coding that's rubbish, right there, nothing that I've ever changed.
