An average centre-back and a decent striker today and it was looking really good, for me. That would have meant every senior player we have loaned/sold/released had been directly replaced and we wouldn't have been left with any "gaps" at all in the squad. I have excluded Perch, Smith and Lovenkrands here but the former and the latter now look like being drafted in by default in those areas. Smith remains a chocolate fireguard. Can't help but be disappointed, but overall it's still been fairly positive. A reluctant 6.

Stu, I appreciate you trying to maintain a reasonable stance, but as has been said plenty of times by plenty of people it's more about what we didn't do than what we did do. Of course it's not the end of the world, but it should have been so, so much better. While I agree the players we have brought in all look to be quite exciting there's just no excuse to have trousered so much money in the process.

I think it's purely just the stress on the server causing bits to load in strange ways. The look of the forum is exactly the same for me, nothing on that score has been changed. I have seen it in the past though where bits have been missing and the colours have altered. Just be patient on the page loads. Speaking of that last bit, if any of you fuckers are constantly mashing F5 when a page is in the process of loading please stop. Just let it load, the extra refreshing won't do anybody any favours.
