Surely West Ham won’t loan to a relegation rival
They might sell as I think his contract is running out.
they might but by all accounts we are only looking at loans
They couldn’t come to an agreement or work it out or something
In the papers today.....
“Various scenarios had been presented to the owner of Sports Direct by the businesswoman – including putting up money to buy players during the transfer window. But that was conditional on a sale price being agreed between the two parties, and without that there is no possibility of Benitez receiving any outside help.”
Sadly this my thinking now. Especially as one of the big hold ups seem to be the relegation clause. Would make sense for them to wait it out 4 or 5 months.
Also sickening how expensive journeyman Prem players have become.
Aye there is that too. Just looks like Ashley won’t spend any money this window apart from loan fees. He’s just gonna roll the dice on relegation again
Almost a quarter of the way thru January, not even a hint of a signing, targets going elsewhere, the press saying loan moves only and some people genuinely believe the takeover is done. Baffles me that
23 years ago this weekend was my first Newcastle game, 1-1 draw with Blackburn in the FA Cup, equaliser scored by Rob Lee. Love this round of the cup. I think a 3-1 win
I just saw some highlights, and I wouldn't say smiling throughout.
He was smiling quite a bit and didn’t look all that pissed off. Pointless trying to read his body language tho
