Heavy cringing at this
-
I agree that’s why I said both are a problem just a different problem
-
I can just imagine how slow & immobile he could be in 7 or 8 years time
-
It’s very tourist like. My mate’s kids football team all went down a couple of weeks ago for the City v West Ham game as part of package thing where they get a tour etc which is fair enough but when he got there he saw about 3 or 4 other people he knew from up here that aren’t city fans and just went for the experience.
-
yeah and I think most Newcastle fans would like to spend but do it like we have been. Building a really good squad steadily year by year and not just throwing silly money at like city. City are the reason we can’t spend as much as we’d like. No one wants another city in the league so people can blame Man Utd Liverpool and Arsenal etc and rightly so but the way City have went about things since their takeover is it any wonder the rest of league don’t want a repeat of that? I don’t. It’s boring and dare I say soulless

I can’t be arsed to go in to why they are a problem it’s fairly obvious. Chelsea too. Man City can’t even sell out their ground yet have one of the biggest income revenue in the world.
-
Part of me felt a bit of solidarity with City with Newcastle backing them up in court etc but honestly wish they’d get found guilty and fuck off down the leagues. A bad run of form over 2 months. No problem just spend £200m. They are as much the problem as Liverpool & Man Utd are just at the other end of the scale

There it is var pending

Yeah, great move for us and him

Eh they are just spending £51m on a midfielder for the summer. They could replace Jesus if they want
-
It was the same when Odegaard was out. Heavy reliant on one or two key players
-
That’s hardly his fault
-
Mitigating circumstances he was up front with JDT, Ian Rush & Andreas Anderson. If he was a poor signing I dread to think what that lot were
-
We’ll have to agree to disagree. To me Shola Ameobi or Jon Dahl Tommason (in that side, he went on to be pretty decent) are what you would describe as bang average. Putting Tino in that bracket is ridiculous. All his team mates from that time who have been on the podcast circuit describe him as being brilliant.
-
he was hardly ‘bang average’ that is absolutely nonsense. He was never an out and out striker and he had to take on a lot of heavy lifting when Shearer got injured. Calling him bang average is just ridiculous. He was one of the few bright sparks in the awful Dalglish side.
-
What they mean is they badly miss Saka.

It’s a nonsense comparison tbf

Saying Asprilla wasn’t a good signing is miles off like. He was great
