Longstaff is maddening

Our final ball has been dross today.

Ugh, that's the game conceded then.

Sorry to bang on but I’m so fed up of referees shafting us at that shithole. Absolutely a penalty.

I think to add context he also complemented our shape, so it was more in a “looks like a good match” vibe.

Surely Eriksen features in their best XI?

I think Joelinton drops back towards the left to help burn against Antony.

I think this as well, a goal will come from a burn error. Definitely would have preferred target, Wonder why he’s favouring burn.
It’s so we can play 3-5-2 in possession

Not looking great on paper, but games aren't won on paper.
We have a habit of defying the odds, but this may be too much of a challenge.
Not sure I agree, team looks decent and balanced to me. One blow is no ASM, otherwise think it’s a good line-up. Fuck them and theirs.

Ew.
Isn’t this like one player out from the team you said would win?

My biggest regret is no ASM. I think he would have made Dalot look even more ordinary than he usually looks. Shelvey on the bench is lovely, come on and avarakedavra one top bins.
-
Won’t be much longer that it’s a huge problem, we’ll have a fuller squad soon.
-
So frustrating just when we seemed to be moving towards a full squad. Oh well.

6 League games till the WC. Hopefully see a fully fit NUFC before then, but looks doubtful.
Good job Howe can perform miracles and turn piss into fine wine.
I think more they’ll probably buy another attacker, having now seen proof that both Wilson and ASM can’t be relied on, and that Isak hasn’t really got going. Could be wrong but I’ve a feeling Maddison’s England snub will lead him to blame Leicester and he’ll agitate for a transfer.

I think Hope is probably a decent guy but he writes for the journalistic equivalent of the love child of the Death Star and the third reich. Nothing written in that poison well is it worth your, my or our time.

Nothing to do with pointing fingers, but the passing every injury off as 'just a knock' when there clearly is more to it than that. It's like they are hiding something.
It has been an issue for decades, I think its many things rolled in to one, but I go back to the transfer window where enough wasn't done imho, and we needed someone else up front to really push on. We'd have a good chance of being a comfortable 4th had we not picked these up or had more options. It's just a shame that's all. Hate the feeling of missed opportunity.
Unless the players quite clearly feel and show they are being pushed too hard, then its fine for me to keep going like this. But if it is that training is tough and it tends to be that we will pick up injuries, then the club & management would have known this, and really could have got a couple of players in to keep that momentum going.
Well with World Cup break and January we’ve got plenty of time to set it right!

Same here, my brother (34, never been to old Trafford) thinks his beloved Red Devils will walk it. Bruno “mediocre” and Howe “an overrated school teacher”.

I'll be here win, lose or draw with my insightful analysis don't worry.
You truly are the board’s very own analrapist, that’s fair.

I think there’s probably something in it to do with the intensity of the training and gametime, it’s quite clear that it’s the key message. You’d think if it continues much longer they’re going to need to change it. Extremely frustrating but all clubs having similar with a packed schedule I suppose.
-
Bigger blow than it might otherwise have been because I don’t think Dalot is up to much, would have fancied ASM. Murphy it is, got to hope he keeps it up. Would have been nice having Isak to have a go there. We’ve really got no luck with injuries this year.

Not as scary as that sentence

I’m normally pretty pro-buying shirt and having it too, but can’t get my head around that one.

Does anyone even call us United? Never hear anyone say “good result for United at the weekend”, or “can you believe it, Isak has signed for United!”
People in Newcastle do, otherwise people just say Newcastle, because we’re a one-club city. So many other things to get angry about in football than this.

This always happens when we make subs - we just stop functioning as a competitive entity. Desperate for a real squad.
