If someone offered me 3 times my wage to do the same job I'd be off. People seem to forget its a job at the end of the day.
  2. Never seen 'Michu' play but having watched a vid he seems to have a pretty sweet left peg and a knack of popping up at the right time and finding the net.
  3. Its the same bet is it not? Or do the odds lower significanlty with e/w?
  4. Newcastle United have formally approached Lille to enquire about the availability of defender Mathieu Debuchy. The 26-year old has been heavily linked with a move to England, with reported interested from both Newcastle and Manchester United. Now, sources in Newcastle and France have told NUFCfans.co.uk that there has been contact between the two clubs over a potential deal. Debuchy’s former teammate Yohan Cabaye has already made it public that he has been speaking to Debuchy about joining him on Tyneside. The player himself has said that he likes the style of play in England and is open to a move to the Premier League. Newcastle are reportedly keen on pushing a deal through before Euro 2012 gets underway, fearing that an impressive display could see the defender’s £6m price tag rocket up. Boss Alan Pardew wants to bolster his defence with the addition of a right-back, as first choice Danny Simpson nears the exit door. Towards the end of the season, Pardew hinted at potentially moving for a former teammate of Cabaye on a local radio phone-in. Debuchy, who recently scored his first goal for France against Iceland is also attracting interest from Spanish side Valencia and Bundesliga’s Bayern Munich. The Frenchman has played 288 games for Lille, scoring 17 times. He is contracted to the former Ligue 1 champions until 2015.
  5. The Spurs bet didnt even come in either. Think im going to sack this off and just start laying/using all the free bets.
  6. Germany France final looks tempting at 33/1
  7. Just stuck a fiver on Spurs at 8/5 although they're opponents at 8/15 are surely big favourite? I know nothing of NBA. Also, when roughly will the game finish, sometime during the middle of the night?
  8. On the sky one? Type in the corresponding abbreviation in the search bar (i.e. France = FRA) Cheers Ben Arfa 5.5 but under strikers not midfielders
  9. How to you set it to view a teams players? Ie I want to filter more than just Goalies, Defenders and Strikers. Its infuriating.
  10. My maccys team Neuer Debuchy Abate Lahm Sneijder Ben Arfa Modric Iniesta Jelavic LLorente Van Persie My question is, will Llorente be starting? As I swapped C.Ronaldo and Cahill for Llorente and Lahm...
  11. Thats from the metro btw. No quotes or anything but he'd be my first choice signing of the summer. Followed by Mbiwa.
  12. Newcastle scout Lille's Mathieu Debuchy in action for France Newcastle United want to continue their French revolution with a deal for Lille full-back Mathieu Debuchy, after watching him star against Iceland over the weekend. Magpies boss Alan Pardew is a long-term admirer of versatile defender Debuchy, and has closely followed his progress all year, before asking Chief Scout Graham Carr to compile a dossier on the player at the end of the season. Pardew, who has already signed play-maker Romain Amalfitano from Ligue 2 Reims, has enjoyed huge success with French players in the last 12 months, with the likes of Yohan Cabaye, Hatem Ben Arfa, Gabriel Obertan and Sylvain Marveaux all helping the Toon to a surprise 5th place finish last season. Newcastle are not finished there though, and will use their excellent contacts on the continent to strengthen again this summer, with Lille star Debuchy their top target, after club scouts watched the 26-year-old score and impress as France beat Iceland 3-2 on Sunday evening. A powerful and aggressive right-back who can play left-back and in midfield, Debuchy has also been watched by Manchester United and Liverpool in recent months, but Newcastle believe they are favourites, and are preparing a £5 million bid. Lille are said to value the player at closer to £8 million, and are aware that Turkish duo Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are willing to pay that, giving them a strong hand at the negotiating table. Newcastle are likely to be forced into upping their bid though - given that first-choice right-back Danny Simpson has twice rejected the offer of a new contract, and is set to walk out of Sports Direct Arena on a free transfer this summer. The Magpies have Manchester United's Fabio da Silva and Twente's Roberto Rosales as back up options, if they fail to land Debuchy.
  13. My hopes that we sign Debuchy and Mbiwa grow everyday. I dont think I could contain myself should this happen. Repeat the sentiments that to have any chance of getting Debuchy we need to get the deal done before the Euro's. Unless France fail miserably and dont get through their group, highly unlikely though given the look of their squad. Debuchy Ben Arfa Cabaye
  14. Portugal, Spain and Germany to win their 26th May friendlies. £10 returns £27 and gets me a free tenner bet for the euro's.
