Not someone who I'd call an intelligent defender and good at reading the game (which I think we are desperately lacking). Big boy who makes the occasional mint challenge but lacks on the skill department too much. Hope I'm wrong like ..and please don't give the "you stupid fuck. you cant judge him after just a few matches" speach. I know, need to see more of him but the above is my view so far

No one is actually answering the question here. "Do you trust Shepherd to get the appointment right this time?" Or will we get another Roeder or even worse. Swapping him for someone who's as useless wouldnt do us any good. We might win a few games from now till the end of the season but next season would be dire again.

I'd let him go. Don't see him as a very creative midfielder. Very good at spinning around and is a skillful little player but I'd like to see a player with a more direct attacking approach. Someone who can split the opposition defense with a through pass..
