Fantastic goal that
-
Would prefer to see him moved on and upgraded, but can't see it happening. Ashley is Ashley and we seem to hang our hat on him in respect of getting an academy lad in the first team squad - especially if Shola doesn't get a new deal. Dummett and Sameobi aren't getting the chance because of Haidara and, inexplicably, Obertan respectively.

Who would resign?

Will update this after the next gw - away atm

"Do you like one goal victories? Do you like unnecessarily edgy finishes to games? Do you want a gobshite manager to complement your (generally) insufferable fans? Maybe Pardew is the man for you!"

Krul Debuchy MYM Willo Haidara Sissoko Tiote Cabaye Gouffran HBA Remy Reasons: Santon just isn't "turning the corner" so to speak, and it's been a while. I'm all for investing in him while he learns, but he isn't learning. Getting that feeling that it's not gonna work out for him here, and that he's going to be the great player I thought he'd be somewhere else. Hope I'm wrong. Anita is good, but a bit overrated IMO. Competing with Cabaye for a spot in the team - who he just doesn't offer as much as quite frankly. Colo seems off to me, and I think we should invest in giving MYM the best possible chance to develop seeing that Colo will either leave/deteriorate soon anyway. Need to get another CB in the summer. 4-4-2 suits us, with Pardew. Gives us the best organisational discipline I think. The wing forward roles confuse us and we look too open.

Sounded like a boyband just got on stage at a teenage girl concert hall every time he received the ball

We had no intention to play football in the second half. That's pretty inexcusable when you're facing an injury stricken Southampton at home, after running them ragged in the first half. He's been saying the right things lately (finally), and I understood the merit of starting Shola ahead of HBA - as it took away one of Southampton's big weapons (the harrying and congestion in midfield) - but to cede momentum them was all too familiar. Seeing them walk the ball up to the invisible forcefield of the halfway line, which we were unable to push out from... on 46 minutes... is just sad.
-
Thought he did well, but played with too directly because of the time constraints of his cameo. Poor decision making at the very end where he should have passed, but that was once.

Don't win = Pardew you cunt!!!1 Probably told Remy to miss on purpose so we get to keep him in the summer, then we can sell him January 2015 [/ridiculous made up shite] Oof, straw man taking a pounding. Don't let up.

Don't blame Pardew for Remy's missed chances (the one saved on the line) in the first half, nah. Blame him for the second half, absolutely. We were waiting for them to equalise, and Remy's second chance only came as a result of a scuffed goalkeeper clearance. Bringing on Cisse, ffs.
-
What teh fuck are you on about mate Chances aside he was alright for the most - not as good as he normally is, but alright. The missed chances were awful, but he's not someone I'd put my house on scoring anyway.
-
He's a 1 in 3 striker and he only got two very presentable chances sadly.

At a certain point in my life, I'm not going to be able to watch football anymore. It's bad for my blood pressure. Get so fucking angry. Pardew is a complete pussy. How we managed to be "hanging in there" in the second half vs Southampton is obscene quite frankly. How Southampton ended the game with 11 men, I don't know. I was also disappointed to see us go down to 10 men for the last half hour when Shola was substituted.
