Still fairly suspicious this is all an elaborate April Fool's. Only way it could be funnier/worse is he prefixed blacks with "the".

That's a bad reason, man. IMO.* There's only really Man Utd, Arsenal and Everton who are left to throw stones anyway * - unless you mean from a footballing perspective, which the rest of your post suggests not

Absolutely. If our players can't play a couple extra games per month (having also bombed out all the other cups very early) then there are serious problems with fitness. That sentiment is right. Absolutely. Just not when we're in a perilous position in the league! I'd want to wait to see if we beat Fulham and then give it a right go in the home leg. If you can show me any evidence that resting players has helped us this season I'd love to see it. The over-rotation of our team has lost us games. Reading-gate. I'd also weigh in with the notion that momentum is quite important, and we don't want to have the momentum of three consecutive losses going into our next Premier League game. Especially if that third loss is a massive pasting in Benfica.

    Spies was my personal favourite
  6. Obertan would probably make my Newcastle XI of shite (when they were here) I've seen along with the likes of Pattison, Ramage, Duff and Ranger.
  7. So bad. Even Valencia who was Mr. Consistency for us is having a really poor season now. Nani, despite a really good season and a half two years back, is still too much of a yap and far too inconsistent to be great IMO. Always thought we overpaid for Young anyway, never really had any faith in him despite a decent start to his Old Trafford career. Can see two being sold in the summer. Pretty certain Valencia will be kept for his attitude and versatility. Buy Obertan, he's mint.
  8. He'd be a good player if he ever started to actually score. Plays as a deep forward though. His link up play is top notch and his energy and tracking back is invaluable. I'm OK with him not scoring if he's contributing that much to the side every game. Welbeck works so hard for the team.

Di Canio will deck McClean within the first few weeks, for sure.

Where has this 'fascist' bit come from?

Wouldn't be surprised if Ashley asked Pardew to prioritise his financial investment given our precarious league position
  18. Now there's an oxymoron if ever I heard one
  19. Come on "Stevie G" and Suazez, pull the team up by its bootstraps. Be a dickhead-force for good for a change.

I disagree with that, 10 games into the season and most managers will be in place at other clubs and 10 games into the season and any new manager will have lost the chance of working with the players in pre-season. I would like to see him go now but in reality, the best time to get rid of him will be once the season is over, as long as we are still picking up points this season. This season and last season underline the importance of a good start to the season, and the negative effects of having a shit start. If we make a change at all, it should be in the summer. Ashley has an acceptable representative sample upon which to make his decision, or not as the case is more likely to be.
  21. That 1-1 draw with Villa at home earlier in the season still really irritates me.
