  1. There have been worse managers who've been in his/a similar position tbf.
  2. He isn't shit, to be fair. Largely done a very underwhelming job, though. For a team with their resources you don't think it's professionally incompetent to continue to have Gareth Barry as one of the first names on your team sheet? You'd be fuming if it was your team, and rightly so. Relative to where the clubs are at, I'd rate it as being just as bad as having three centre-backs at Newcastle for 18 months (or whatever it was) until MYM got here.
  3. Cannot see Pardew fielding Cisse, Gouffran, Marv, Sissoko and Ben Arfa Way too attacking for his tastes.
  4. Weak as piss, but some will buy it. If the joint richest club in the league can't identify an affordable upgrade on Gareth Barry in time Mancini's had, he doesn't deserve to keep his job. You're just shit Mancini.
  5. Best pantomime ref around Like having Vince McMahon as the special referee.
  6. Finally saw lengthy-ish highlights of yesterday's game. Looked like we had the better chances. I'd like for Cisse not to require so many opportunities quite frankly, but can't knock his determination/desire to get involved and on the end of things. We look awful at defending set pieces still. Marv looks dynamite. James Gutierrez continues to impress after his rebirth. Massive three points. Very relieved.
  7. Those are my three too. Got dicked on bonus points, 0 for Cisse or Remy!
  8. Yup, was fun to mock them while we could. They play nice stuff.
  9. How is it still 0-0? Thought the dippers would dip them to shreds (at the airport, not watching)
  10. Easy to get mixed up by our opulence of shit games, all seem to blur into one season-long squirt of diarrhea, not the liquid football we had hoped for.
  11. 1-0 wasn't it? Not that, that is much better

Heartbreaking watching those highlights. Such shoddy slapstick defending at times. Krul was fantastic though.

Norwich are plodding along picking up the odd draw here or there. Stoke, you know, are annoying enough not to keep losing like this. Sunderland... who knows what tragedy Di Canio will bring

I'm a little peeved about him going for the lofted finish when one-on-one. It was a good performance/bodes well, but I really wish he'd put his laces through it or taken it around the keeper instead.
  15. Over 2.5 goals in Qpr/Wigan is a good one. Annoyed that I didn't think of that.
  16. Liverpool -2, Arsenal (who won yesterday), Everton DNB, Newcastle (), Chelsea for £480ish off a tenner.

I'd probably move the Man Utd home game down a category. We won by three goals, but they looked dangerous at times - and it was only when Jones scored an own goal at the end that I really relaxed. Not to say it wasn't a fantastic performance, it was (Ba's was the best in a black and white shirt I've seen in ages), but I'd move it down a category personally to the 'neither here nor there' on the comfort scale. I'd also move Bolton up one 'comfort class'. Until HBA came on, we looked really short of cutting edge and penetration, but we were in cruise control. They were never going to hurt us. Bolton were absolute turd at that point though, I should add. We were great in the West Brom away fixture, but we looked a bit shaky before our first goal in the opening 15-20. Still, would leave it where it is.

Reckon he means the away fixture with the HatemDembaDemba destruction.
  19. People entertaining Bielsa as a serious possibility
  20. So far we have Hitzfeld, Heynckes, Bielsa, Mourinho, Montanier, Alan Curbishley and Phil Brown.
