  1. I love that Lawrenson prediction. It's like trying to hit a really classy move in a computer game, so you keep trying it long after the moment has gone and when it's devoid of all coolness - he's trying to do that with our first loss - and my fucking word he'll look for it anywhere! Edit: Either that or he's desperately rationalising to try and reconcile reality with how high Liverpool "should" be compared to Newcastle
  2. Nuts. A bad start to this betting week. Might just absorb the loss, fixtures/odds a bit shit.
  3. The Newcastle of Spain are 1 up.
  4. Nah, my comment was based on them being intelligent choices rather than profitable (although some of them seem to be!). Betting is an art, Ali! I am the Stoke of betting, but I can recognise a gambler with style when I see him.
  5. Why are they really good/really bad? My betting site doesn't offer some of those markets and, as yet, I've been too lazy to commit to a change. Followed variations of those bets with a tenner though Returns £160. Edit: I hit '2' instead of '1'. Bet a score.
  6. Who was the female commentator on MoTD?
  7. Main: Chelsea Dortmund Side: Chelsea Dortmund Arsenal 2-1 Small money tonight. Cba.
  8. Yup class, just hope you saved the .psd file so you can correct the spelling mistake!
  9. Geddaway man! Everton are a good side. There are plenty of ways we could not win!
  10. Really hope Best gets on the scoresheet in this one. It will really annoy Neil. He also deserves it for his all around play lately.
  11. Appropriate that you posted that, David
  12. Just saw that David Villa made the Ballon d'Or shortlist.
  13. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/premier-league/8853034/Stoke-City-1-Newcastle-United-3-match-report.html Decent read IMO
  14. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2011/oct/31/five-things-learned-premier-league Some good and bad bits in this article. Interesting bit on Downing. Thought he started his career well at Liverpool, but I haven't followed him since early in the season and I haven't heard from him much either!
  15. OH! I get it. He's doing a parody of half the board last season. Very funny. Edit: @ the people engaging with him.
  16. Everton game is an early kick-off. If we win, we're three points off top spot, six clear of fourth, nine clear of seventh, nineteen clear of relegation. I lol'd.
  17. 73 points Have Best, been tempted to swap him for Ba... well.. since they swapped goal-scoring form, but just fucking know the second I swap, Best will start banging them in again Still, two assists for the Mint Man. Neil's fucking cursed his goalscoring the wanker. I know he's putting 1p on Best to score every game on the sly. Really shocked Mata didn't get any bonus points too btw [/greedy]
  18. This season feels like a film. Next challenge for us in the film is to face our fellow humble cash-strapped battling brethren who also have some quality about them - Everton. Who might be the team to defeat us. [Just like all the others ]
  19. Predicted four NUFC losses in the last six or something? (Happy to be corrected if I'm exaggerating I'd genuinely like to know tbh)
