Well, I wouldn't go as far as Rich and say "never" but I certainly think your logic is a bit woolly and that the players I mentioned would have mitigated the chances substantially of such silly errors being repeatedly made.
-
Not sure if you're being serious, JH... You think having Jose who cuts off the supply of crosses (on one side), Tiote a mammoth DM and Colo who improves everyone around him... wouldn't have made a difference?
-
Tiote, Colo, Enrique and Ben Arfa missing. Literally our four best players. Calm down, calm down.

Doing fantastically in pre-season...
-
Boy wants a first-team spot!

Leeds the better side so far. Foster at fault for the goal. Still not looking strong aerially. Cabaye looking impressive on set pieces. Barton is doing well too.
-
WilliCini at the back and Taylor playing just off Ba. Aside from leaving three of our precious few CBs exposed to injury, that's actually looking like a decent plan Taylor is better going forward and scoring goals than defending. We also need a striker. Pardew will be unveiling him as like a new signing any second now. Geordie replacement for our old Geordie number 9.

Taylor handball?
-
No, Gradel is. Cabaye's challenge. Cabaye was down. Ah okay, apologies. Not accepted.
-
Cabaye is down.
-
Yeah, Barton on corners no more if this continues. Hope he can take freekicks too - we haven't had any decent first team freekick taker in a long, long time.
-
Must for Arsenal, tbh.

Bell has his century, at least

For those of you with Twitter accounts, can you all bombard Simpson telling him to stop backing off?!
-
"Again Simpson... backing off him" It's going to be a long season.
-
Routledge, not Simpson Right you are
-
Looked shaky on crosses in America, tbh.
-
Add Barton to that list, also Danny Simpson chimed in with a "nail on head" right? No repercussions for him.
-
Quite happy to see how good a Tiote-replacement Gosling can be, as we will eventually be deprived of Tiote's services over the coming season.
-
I don't believe there are any genuine or wholehearted Ashley apologists - just those whose objectivity is coloured by optimism; posters who want to believe we can achieve in spite of the regime. And maybe we can. Not the worst thing in the world for N-O to have some nuances of opinion.
-
And Cleverley is gone too. Big player for them last season.

Just saw Bolton's Lee out for nine months. Terrible thing for any player, but he seemed particularly well liked by fans of pretty much all clubs! Hoping for a speedy recovery.

Also, you missed Tiote at CM
