Deserved victory, but questions still exist over the defence, I hope Roz can sort himself out, either that or there are massive communication problems between him and Taylor. We should have been so much more comfortable after the chances we missed in the first half. Zoggy was MOM, closely followed by Milner. Really hope we quickly get Enrique in defence so Zoggy can play on the wing where he belongs.

Its about time Alardyce got ONE sub right, tho i would be just as/more happy if he'd brought Enrique on for Butt.

it was a stupid trip, the Brum defender blatently kicked out his right leg to trip Martins. Commentators i have both agreed it was a pen.

Defo pen, no doubt about it. Viduka has looked off the pace a bit, should have played Martins in but took too long. Zoggy and Milner have been great so far.

Good first half, we SHOULD be 4-1 ahead... Milner and Martins were both far too casual on their 4yd out misses, especially Oba who was being a bit cocky just tryin to touch it in. Beye - Roz - Faye - Enrique.....for me. While on paper our defence seems much improved, we still have a terrible defensive record and are conceding far too many goals for a team with any ambition of Europe. 25 GA in 15 matches is beaten only by Wigan (26), Boro (27), Spurs (28), Scum (29), Reading (32) and Derby (34). When you consider we've had a relatively easy start to the season, fixtures-wise, thats worrying.
