Really? Yes, assuming you get any enjoyment for watching the football obviously. So very few if any are depriving themselves of anything positive. Ian the football club is a car crash of an operation. I'm not even the hardcore, far from it but I simply can't be arsed to pay for tickets anymore given what's going on. I love the club and ill always support them but there's more to life than forcing myself to go and hand over cash when I've become so disillusioned. I did on February 17th and I've had a confirmation email today giving me the specific seat I requested, but as I'm moving from L7 to the Gallowgate I didn't expect any problems other than the ridiculous amount of time it's taken to sort out. Let's see what they do with all those who requested a move to L4.

Is the reason therefore that the seat may have been free from season ticket holders last year but the fact that people from level 7 now want these seats means it will have to happen on a first come first served basis ? So the reason it hasn't been done on the date it was handed in is possibly because 6 other people from level 7 are trying for the same seat ? Very much doubt that as most people from L7 seem to be heading for Leazes L4 (I've asked for the Gallowgate). Also, I rang the ticket office the day I received the form and asked of the availability of the 2 seats in question. I was told that the seats were available and to indicate the seat numbers on the form and it would be sorted straight away. Finally, as Simon Esland has said elsewhere, the applications will be processed in order received so I don't think there'll be too many got theirs in before me let alone be requesting the same seats. The whole thing is a shambles man.

When I received the renewal forms I decided to go on NUFC website and see which seats where available match to match. Having identified the two seats we wanted, I rang the ticket office who confirmed they were not allocated to season ticket holders. The guy on the phone told me to put the seat numbers on the renewal form, send it in and they would sort it straight away. I returned the forms well before February 28th and I've heard nowt since. Fucking useless.

The 10 months would only be for the first year. You'd pay over 12 months from year 2.

The way I understand it is that the 28th February deadline is to pay over 12th months, but as long as you apply before 30th April you'll still get the price freeze but will pay over 10 or 11 months for the first year.

Fucking bastards. It has been frozen for 3 years though? Surely you expected a increase? I was expecting some sort of increase yes, but not that much and not under such circumstances i.e being forced to move to a more expensive seat. Even if I'd paid this seasons price for my ticket it still would be an increase of around £140. Edit: Actually, having looked at the renewal forms again, the 10 year price freeze is at 2008/09 prices so I wouldn't have any increase if I wasn't being forced to move (apart from the 12th man gubbins). Taking everything into account, it's an increase of £159.

Was it a young lad sat in seat 288 row J of the Leazes Level 7 corner? It was a young lad but a different row (we're in row F). He went to see a steward about it and was told there were quite a few seats that had been sold twice. Everyone stands anyway, so it wasn't a problem on the day, but obviously needs to be sorted out.
