You say this yet ive only heard Tony Adams mentioned (and even that im not sure about). If you scroll back to the beginning of this debate you would see that i only mentioned all these things about Dawson because some said he was only rated by spurs fans.i had to prove that wrong. Feels good to be right yet again . If you think that getting call up for the England squad(and still not playing a single minute)means something...you need medical care
-
Where is Casillas? Valdes is not regular in Spain national team as for Casillas he is playing there for years
-
We can argue like this all night Its better for you to take your opinion about Dawson and go to your Spuds forum and talk this shit there

mackems.gif mackems.gif mackems.gif mackems.gif mackems.gif. Come back to me when he gets an England call up. The fact that Dawson is in the England squad doesnt mean anything Its not like he is playing(even for 5-10min) On the other hand i also think that Taylor is and will become even better player then Dawson He needs couple of years of experience and will be in the England squad for sure Hilarious stuff. I think its only Newcastle fans (and maybe a few other fans on this board) that actually rate him. Never hear him get a mention from commentators or anyone. Last season he was pants and this season he's been ok (from the little ive seen). And only the Tottenham fans rate Dawson. He is pretty average IMO Well thats a lie. Erickson must have rated him to call him up to train with the squad at 19 playing in the championship? Mclaren must have rated him to keep calling him up? Liverpool must have rated him to try and sign him 2 seasons in a row ( Phil Thompson goes on about this on soccer saturday)?, David Platt must have rated him to play him ahead of Taylor in the u21 team? Commentators must rate him to keep going on about him on countless occasions? That must have been around the same time they tried to sign Boumsong whats that got to do wit anything? the points you make are ridiculous and have nothing to do with the issue. Whats the issue then??? That if commentators rates Dawson he is better than Taylor... Stop taking drugs...

And you think that if commentators rates some players they are right... Its just that Taylor's name in hardly ever mentioned. Even when there going on about good young English defender, you' hear Dawson mention followed by Lescott and even Anton bloody Ferdinand but timt and time again they neglect Steven Taylor. He's pretty s**** tbh so cant really blame them. And Claude Makélélé's name is hardly ever mentioned in games... So he is shit too a??? ;D

You have to be optimistic
-
Ultimately Shearer is the Newcastle United all time goalscorer and deserve this statue The point is isnt it too early for this honour...?
-
If Shearer turn out to be our manager one day it will be very strange thing to see every day-yourn own statue But with Shearer as a manager if he wins some trophies everyone will say that this statue is the best thing FS did
-
I doubt Roeder will play this team Maybe play 4 at the back with Babayaro at LB
-
Aye,i think the same way
-
I think Werder and Sevilla are the favourites to win it but if we could get some luck in the draw we can go trough the last 8

http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10278~981651,00.html THEY are the two greatest goalscorers in the history of Newcastle United ? two men who sum up why the black and white number nine shirt is so revered on Tyneside. And soon, Jackie Milburn and Alan Shearer will be forever immortalised in the form of bronze statues that will proudly stand outside their beloved St. James' Park. The all-time dream Geordie strikeforce of Wor Jackie and Big Al will doubtless become a huge visitor attraction at Gallowgate when they are unveiled at some point during the 2007/08 season. Renowned Nortumberland sculptor Tom Maley is the man who will create the two statues, and the Newcastle fan's work is already familiar to Toon fans who can recall his previous model of Jackie that stood outside St. James' during the 1990s. The two new bronze statues will measure eight feet high and be mounted on plinths at the South West corner of St. James', a fitting location given the statues will be in close proximity to the Milburn Stand and Shearer's Bar, both named after the two legends. Wor Jackie will be forever synonymous with United's three FA Cup wins at Wembley in the early 1950s and his medals from those three unforgettable triumphs remain the centrepiece of the club's museum inside St. James'. His son Jack Jnr told nufc.co.uk: "This is fantastic news, we're so thrilled that this is going to happen and I cannot wait to see how good they look. "Tom is a fantastic sculptor and I know he'll do an amazing job. "To have the statues of my father and Alan welcoming people to St. James' Park will be wonderful. "And with those two guarding the stadium it can only bring the club good luck in the future." Jackie's club record goal tally of 200 was finally passed by Alan in February 2006. The modern-day great, who also captained England during his illustrious career, hung up his boots after finishing on 206 goals in a black and white shirt. Alan, who enjoyed an amazing Testimonial night at Gallowgate last May that raised well over a million pounds for charity, told nufc.co.uk: "I feel very honoured and very proud that these statues are going to be built. "It's a great honour that I will be alongside a statue of the great Jackie Milburn. As a kid growing up in Newcastle I heard so much about his superb career and what he achieved. "Never in my wildest dreams did I think that one day I would be mentioned alongside him. I feel very honoured." Sculptor Tom, who is based in Morpeth, told nufc.co.uk: "I consider it a huge honour and privilege to be chosen to create the two statues. "They will be based on their classic poses and I want the two statues to complement each other. "I think the mantle of the great number nine was passed between Jackie and Alan and I'd like to show that, and also how it would look to have two heroes playing together. "I think they are going to look spectacular. There's a lot of hard work and long hours ahead but I'm very excited about it." Newcastle United chairman Freddy Shepherd told nufc.co.uk: "Jackie and Alan are two all-time greats and they will be immortalised outside St. James' Park so their achievements are remembered forever. "I think the statues will be hugely popular with football fans all over the world. "The names of Jackie Milburn and Alan Shearer are known throughout football and I think fans from near and far will come to St. James' to view the statues. "They brought so much joy and entertainment to Newcastle fans during the respective eras and where they are going to be positioned outside the stadium, they will be welcoming fans to St. James' for many years to come." Two Newcastle United legends They deserve it  It will be nice to see their statues every time you walk to SJP

We can win it We just need some luck and our key players to stay fit But lets just mention some of the favourites wining the UEFA cup: Seville-the current UEFA cup holders,2nd in Spain Primera Division Werder-2nd in Germans Bundesliga.Have some quality players Benfica-IMO they are very good team, knocked Liverpool last year in the Champions league I think these are the 3 teams which have the biggest chance of wining the UEFA cup
-
Your line up is with 12 players ;D
-
I think if we win 8 of our 11 games we have a chance of finishing 6th
-
Terry Toure Ferdinand Carvalho Woodgate
-
I think Kazenga Lua Lua will develop into a very good player Similar to his cousin i think-fast,strong,good technique
-
That's some statement right there. Personally I don't think there's a less gifted player at the club than Ramage. The only area in which he possibly betters Babayaro is in effort, which 9 times out of 10 counts for f*** all on its own. I disagree, but hey ho. I think Ramage is our 4th worst defender. Ramage is the worst defender in your club
