I'll release him only if we sign some promising CB in the summer.For example Curtis Davies Otherwise i'll keep him because we have to play Peter Damage and thats even worse...

Step 1-Dont promise something that you cant do Step 2-That makes you a liar and you dissapoint everyone Roeder did step 1 when promised to us back in the summer to sign at least 5 players and to reduce the average age of the squad.Then he signed 4 players(dont include Rossi because he was loan),one of these 4 hasnt still manage to play a game for us,the 2th is 32,the 3th so far is big dissapointment and the 4th player finally is world class.Then we are hit by the worst injury crisis in the history of the club and both Roeder and our beloved president promised that there will be signings in January... Still Step 1-Roeder signed only 1 player and he is on loan... So all of this lead to Step 2...

I cant see Brian McBride too This is probably some experimental squad without the most important players

Milner & Taylor have been named for the U21 match IIRC, i guess that's why they're not in over the likes of dawson and shaun "14 prem appearances, 1 assist" wright phillips If someone deserve a call up it doesnt matter that previously he was called for the U21 squad I think Milner & Taylor deserves i call up as much as Dawson and SWP Milner-This Season Appearances: 31(4)

If Dawson is there i dont see why Taylor cant be too Except the Birmingam game he has been fantastic for us this season If you consider Milner's performance in recent matches and if you see SWP'performance in...(training sessions)i think Milner deserves call up SWP is in the squad for the form he produced when he was at Man City.That was 2 years ago

Parker is average at best. It's the same people every week who babble on about how great he is. Workrate is ok but you need a certain level of ability to go with it. If he gets good run of games he will get better and better IMO

I have to agree about Emre but i dont think this is the case about Parker I cant understand why people are criticising him so much? He is not playing well at the moment but every player has his up and downs I think that at the start of the season he was great for us

I dont know why Roeder thinks that the players club's which didnt let their players now will do this in the summer?

The most worrying thing i notice about Roeder's comments and list of players he wants to sign is that there are only CB and never mentioned about LB!!! Maybe he thinks that this position is sorted?? :idiot2:

I doubt we will manage to sign Davies,Crouch,Ferdinand especially if some of the big 4 clubs wants to signs them If we didnt sign them now i dont know why Roeder thinks he will manage to do it in the summer

I hope we can get rid of Baba and Carr but i think Roeder actually rates them I remember not so long ago how Roeder said that everytime Babayaro had played he never let him down I just dont think that Roeder will get rid of these two

Agree with that, i'd also try and get Owen & Dyer off the books. Hopefully Dyer doesn't pick up another injury till the end of the season, continues to play well, and clubs start to ask questions again. As for Owen, one big expense we dont need. If someone would take a chance then great, but i feel we'll have him for another season at least, lets just hope he comes back flying and is worth somewhere near the money we paid and pay him. Parker & Butt are two other players who again i wouldn't be too bothered about letting go for the right price. But the ones you've listed are priority to sell. If we sell all the players you mentioned then in the summer we will need to buy at least 10 players I think that Owen,Dyer,Parker are the leaders of this team alongside Nobby and Butt is getting old so its necessary to find him replacement in the summer I have to agree with you guys about Emre.He is big disappointment to me.He has scored only 3 goals for us since joining and i think that Taylor has more then him and only this season+he is another injury prone and always looking for a scandal.But if we sell Butt and Emre we will need another 2 players for the CM.I doubt we will find the founds to buy so much players!!!

All contracts of the following players runs out on 06.2007 Which one's you would renew and which players you will release? 1.Nolberto Solano-definitely renew his contract for at least 2 more years.He was great for us as RB.Wish he could be 25 2.Oguchialu Chilioke "Oguchi" Onyewu-depends on his performance during this 13 games left of the season.I hope he will do well and sign a permanent deal 3.Craig Moore-we dont need him and he clearly said he wants to return to Australia.Released 4.Titus Malachi Bramble-he is still 25 and i dont know why but despite all the costly mistakes he made this season i still have some faith in him and believe he can produce some terrific performance for us.Renew his contract.im not sure for how long 5.Antoine Sibierski-he is 32.Started the season really well.Looked good and scored some important goals.Right now he looks really slow,cant win a header in the air and doesnt look in good shape.It depends who will sign in the summer.Maybe renew his contract for 1 more year.Not too sure though 6.Pavel Srnicek-we spoiled his retirement before the New Year so its time for him to go home .Release him 7.David Edward Edgar-for the 3 games he has played for us he looked quite good even managed to score great goal against Man Utd so there is a future for this young lad at this club IMO.Renew his contract.maybe for 3-4 years 8.Olivier Bernard-i hope he will be the player he used to be but i dont think that will happen.I think Roeder will release him and if we buy some decent lb,Babayaro will be 2nd choice.Released 9.Alan O'Brien-he has some pace and he is quick.I really cant decide about him.? 10.Philip Adam Cave-never seen him play so maybe someone who actually saw him play can say anything about him 11.Kristopher Gate-same as Cave Thoughts

We started the season woefully short up front and that was with Rossi and Shola to pick from. We now don't have them to pick from. We'll be fine as long as Martins and Dyer don't get injured. If they do we'll be completely fucked and will have to resort to taking the piss out of Shola by rushing him back. or play this guy who we bought for 9.5m called Luque Who happens to be fucking diabolical and disinterested? He is but i cant remeber does he ever played 2 games in a row in the premiership Roeder never gave him a chance There's a Luque thread where all this is discussed mate, but there are a couple of very good reasons why he doesn't get a game. 1. He's shit. 2. His attitude. He defenitely will be sold in the summer so there is no point to discuss him anymore
