Newcastle warned off Huntelaar and Emanuelson Newcastle have had to scratch two names from their January shopping list after being told to forget about Ajax duo Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Urby Emanuelson. Manager Glenn Roeder had identified the pair among his potential targets for the winter transfer window as he attempts to strengthen his squad after seeing a relative lack of depth exposed in recent weeks. However, the Dutch club have issued a hands-off warning to the Magpies over two of their most highly-rated performers. With Michael Owen and Shola Ameobi on the long-term injury-list and £10million summer signing Obafemi Martins struggling for goals, Roeder does not have a lot of options, while Celestine Babayaro's fitness record has seen central defender Peter Ramage employed as an emergency left-back. Roeder said: 'We know which parts of our team need strengthening and we will be acting accordingly.' Aye,he is dutch international he is 20 years old and he is very talented I also think that not so long ago Roeder said that he looked at some players from Ajax and these players were Emanuelson and Huntelaar But i dont think Ajax want to sell him and i dont think that Roeder is after him HE would be class here though

He is worth so much(im not saying he is worth 10m)because he is only 17 years old and has a HUGE talent and a great future ahead of him Why Babayaro isnt worth 10m or Evra who joined Man Utd for less then 6m Bale's price is so high because there is big possibility in 3-4 years time his price to be 15m There is also a chance that after 3-4 years he is an average left back playing for Wales It depends how is he going to develop over the next 3-4 years. Andrade is class but alot of players who comes from abroad and havent played in the Premiership are finding very difficult to adapt to the premiership sp maybe its better to buy players who has played before in the premiership and did well

We need a LB more than a CB. yes we need LB more than anything but im not sure that Bale is the answer There is no doubt that he is amazing talent and has a big future ahead of him But right now he is overpriced and overrated by all and i think that if we spend 10m,to spend it on someone like Bridge for example I'd go for Baines out of Bale, Bridge & Baines. Both Davies & Bale are overpriced, especially in this window, but if we were to spend close to £10m on one, then i'd want it to be Bale.
