in a 4-3-3 the centre of the forward 3 has to be able to hold the ball up agreed, but he also has to be mobile and be able to work the left and right channels for it to be effective .. viduka doesnt do this he is to static

Regardless of tactics and formations the players should put in 100% every week, if it isnt working then fine, on the managers head be it, but how do we know the managers tactics arnt working if the players dont perform? Players turning on the manager and making the fans sit through non performances like today is unacceptable and the players should be ashamed. it's not effort,players can give 100% but if they don't feel right it doesn't come off,no lack of effort involved. alan smith gave 100% today i saw that, and i thought that if allardyce wanted to help himself he would have taken of viduka and put smith upfront with martins... viduka looked lazy
