I definitely had an issue with LDJ. His gentle backpasses to the opposition keeper would've been chalked off as rustiness if we weren't direly in the need for a striker to just smash a goal or two in when he was playing. We sorely needed the points. Maybe the pressure and where we were in the league that season didn't help his confidence at all, which is me being kind to him. I'm glad he's found his feet again elsewhere. Just because a player fails in his time at one club doesn't mean he's shit at everything forever.

He's fucking shit, he's had more chances than far, far talented individuals at this club who'd done far more in their short period of time before being shipped out, and the evidence of him being absolutely, unequivocally, unilaterally filthy, green dogshit is so overwhelming that no amount of anomalous data points, such as his assist yesterday, will even come close to changing that. In fact, every instance of actual footballing ability he shows is an outlier of a data point on the line graph of his fucking crackshit career.

Probably because Obertans wanting to break away if we get back possession, means he completely leaves his man though. Considering Obertan is about as useful on a counter as a dried up cow, someone needs to tell him to at least put pressure on opposition players clearly about to whip in crosses or pass the ball out to the wing.
