I disagree. He's a young talented English player who looked extremely comfortable in the Premier League last season even scoring a goal in the short amount of games he played. He has all the makings of a future England international. Now I don't agree that he's worth £50m on a pure player quality level as he is so raw right now, but in this market clubs just simply aren't going to sell a player like this for less than that, so if Man Utd want him that's what they have to pay. Its a gamble for them but if he stays here he either won't work out or he will improve and be worth much more than £50m and might potentially leave to a rival. Also, we have to remember that £50m is fuck all to Man Utd in the grand scheme of things.

Why can’t they combine North and South - having USA, Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica et al would be so much better I've thought this as well. Surely it makes more sense to combine north and south? Maybe, but there are 41 teams in CONCACAF that would have to be accounted for. So you’d probably have to institute pre-tourney qualifying, which would be prohibitively expensive for the minnows and logistically difficult for everybody. Western Hemisphere is a big place. A lot of those are never going to make the tournament ever so you could probably eliminate a large chunk of the minnows with some sort of localised qualifying (maybe a Carribean tournament?).

Lee Ryder is a usually useless but he's just saying what a lot of us have known since day one. A lot of solid posters on here have been conned as well and have presented themselves as ITK which makes it worse. I'm not saying their sources were liars but someone somewhere along that line was lied to. This was all bullshit from day 1, we have seen it time and time again and this time it worked like a charm. This will fall apart and we will get a new takeover in January or/and next summer. Sick to death of this, we need to just protest like fuck because we know Ashley hates it and it's the only slim hope we have. Personally, I think we need to buckle in for another 10 or 20 years, hes going nowhere. I know a lot of people will be salty about this and say I'm talking shit but we will see who owns the club on August 10th when the window closes.

When this is revealed to be dead we need to genuinely start thinking about starting a new club imo. Its gone too far with Ashley and I think people are deluded if they think he isnt here for the next few years continually fucking us over year after year.

At a normal club you'd probably be unfazed by this. I don't think he's quite worth 30m and again, normally you'd take that and put it towards a better replacement. Us however, well, fat Mike has to find the money to buy Game from somewhere
