I think Tiote is much more important than Cabaye. Our midfield would seriously suffer without Tiote, while although it would be worse without Cabaye, it wouldn't be the end of the world. Our defence would take a hit as well without Tiote. For me Tiote, Colo and Cisse is a good solid spine, with Ben Arfa adding that touch of excitement and world class talent.

Of course it is free advertising, he is taking up space all over the place. I understand that businesses might not be keen on adverts such as that on the roof of the Gallowgate, but he is advertising around the concourse, around the pitch, on the post match interview boards, on the seats in the dug out, in boards around the outside of the ground, all locations that businesses WILL pay for and theres plenty more of them. He even said it himself that all this Sports Direct stuff is them showcasing advertising space, so if he is taking up advertising space for nothing, how is it not free advertising? All I'm saying is, while he is taking up all this space, it would be nice for the club to get something out of it, such as paying off any debts. Either way that loan will get paid when he sells the club and comes looking for it, or when he sells the club to someone for the club value + the loan.

It's criminal if he isn't writing of any of the debt while taking all this free advertising. I wouldn't really mind all that Sports Direct trash everywhere if it was valued appropriately and that value was taken off the debt annually.

I'd go for: Krul Santon New Colo New Cabaye Tiote Jonas Ben Arfa Cisse Ba Subs: New GK, S.Taylor, new forward, new midfielder, Ferguson, Marveaux, Simpson Simpsons a long shot as he'll probably be off, and tbh 5 new players without losing any of those starters is ambitious as well, but it is very important that we strengthen our bench because it has looked weak all season. Theres simply not enough quality outside of our first 11 to help us compete at the top of the table as well as in Europe next season.

I thought if Chelsea win the CL, they basically swap Europe qualification places with 4th rather than there being an extra place? Having said that, the CL winner gets into the CL group stages, and 4th is a play off place, so that would give England 4 group stage places? What happens to that spare place in the play off?

5th place is the play off round. The FA Cup EL spot is for the group stages, which Chelsea now have. However if they win the CL then that spot will go to the highest placed EL qualifier i.e. the team that finishes 4th.
