Shepherd returns

3 weeks ago that bloke who bought Man City might have took the club off Ashley
-
His future depends on who buys us, if its a billionaire with big ambitions then he will sign, if its another Ashley then he is off.
-
Im actually not happy about this

Thought it would be best to get foreign in, but KK back with Wise out would be immense. Keep the recruitment team of course, but get rid of Wise. This

I want us to have an Arab owner, City fans must be absolutely loving life with their club atm.
-
MOTD not gonna show the Liverpool fans protest against their owner?
-
Are people saying the commotion of the whole thing effected the players? Or are they saying the message did? Surely if the commotion effected them, then it would have effected the Hull players aswell?
-
Overall im not bothered, it wasnt a real job anyway, it was just a role to keep Shearer part of the club. I love Shearer as much as other Newcastle fans but its no odds if he has this job or not. However, the timing, seems like a blatant dig at the fans tbh, probably after the protesting.

FFS the bloke on SSN had no one behind him, within seconds there must have been about 20 people just standing there. What is wrong with these people wanting to just stand because they want on the telly?
-
I didnt, it was a post in this thread

What is your problem seriously? Chill the fuck out man

Tough call really, we have seen that the recruitment team can do the job, our signings, as few of them that there is, seem good so far. Do we want rid of them to get Keegan back? Keegan plays good football here but he isnt the only manager in the world that can do so. I think the next step is a foreign manager to work within our set up. That to me is the way forward now. The problem with saying no is the emotional attachment to Keegan which we all have, but it needs to be put to one side if the right decision is to be made.

that little crest on the shirt, no...not the addidas one, is what I think we should be supporting, particularly during the 90minutes of competition Some people care more about the behind the scenes business than they do about what happens on the pitch. I dont think that is the case at all, people are just pissed off for obvious reasons and some of them see SJP as a good stage to vent their frustration. I know they should get behind the players, but alot of them probably thought Ashley, Wise etc were at the game. A demonstration in the stands is essentially a demonstration to their faces, which to some people beats doing it outside Shearers and on SSN. Alot of people dont agree with it, but some people are different.
-
Not exactly supporting the team, is it? No but when it was getting passed around it must have lasted about 2 minutes. Were we playing alot better before the incident? Are people just looking for someone/something to blame here? Cant the team just have had a bad day due to what is happening at the club? How many times have we seen a gutless performance at SJP from our boys, most of which are still here and played today?
-
Why? Whats the difference between it and any other form of protesting?
-
Some people are seriously over reacting to this, you would swear the banner went infront of Given's eyes for their 2nd goal.
-
At least you knew it'd get better when Souness left. There was hope at the end of the tunnel. We just had to wait a while for Freddy to realise what the whole fanbase did, but he got there in the end. Where do we go from here? No money to throw around, tiny squad, no manager, seemingly indifferent owner and board. What happens now? I think we need to keep a calm head and just wait and see what happens. Speculation only fuels doom and gloom, this is Newcastle and our past would suggest things wont work out, that it will all go to shit, but we dont know yet, so like i said, calm head and sit it out, for now.

Really hope Shearer is on MOTD tonight, really want to hear his stance

The talk of the season being over is just garbage, 34 games left so its all ahead of us. We will get a new manager in and we will start to get the ship steadied again. Today was grim but its only game 4. Bring on the new manager, lets get behind the lads and lets just get on with it. The doom and gloom tortures no one but ourselves so why bother?
